Seh ich ganz anders. Was is mit El-Ps Soloalbum, CAnnibal Ox, Mr Lif, Murs? Alles absolut geniale Platten, wobei es natürlich auch Gesachmackssache ist. Mir sagen die bizarren Klanggemälde von El-P ebenso wie die jenseits von den üblichen Gangsta-Platitüden angesiedelten, schrägen Metaphern zu.

Wer kennt eigentlich die "Orange Moon over Brooklyn" von Pumpkin Head? Hab da mal reingehört und fand die eigentlich ziemlich gut. Recht oldschoolig.
Außerdem wollte ich nochmal Black Moon genannt wissen. Buckshot hat einer der tightesten Flows&Stimme überhaupt. Passt aber am besten zu den Beatz von Evil DEe. Die Chemistry mit 9th WOnder hat mich nicht voll überzeugt, Rhymes und Beatz harmonieren nicht so gut wie üblich.

Ich hör sie mir gerne an, und ich fand Murs und 9th Wonder war sowas wie der Anfang der Collabos wie 9th & some talented MC ." Murs 3:16" war / ist ein sehr gutes Album wie ich finde. 9th und Murs harmonieren zusammen einfach perfekt, wie Murs mal gesagt hat. Man kann sich das Album durchhören ohne vom einen auf den anderen track ständig zu wechseln. 9th soll demnächst ein Album releasen voll mit Beats. Da freu ich mich schon drauf !
 
früher hab ich nur westcoast gehört bin dann ma zu east übergegangen wegen jadakiss und d block und anderen east is auch sehr geil jetzt hör ich beides
 
Murs is auf jeden geil. Auch die "THe BEginning of the End" find ich tight.
C Rayz is noch bei Def Jux und hat dieses Jahr ein ganz cooles Album rausgebracht ebenso wie Cage. Un dzum Thema "bizarre Klangwelten": Nenn mir doch bitte maln Producer, der einen ähnlichen Sound hat. Es gibt vielleicht auch andere, die exzentrische BEatz machen, aber die klingen dann auch sehr eigen und sind nicht wiklich vergleichbar (Madlib z.B., obwohl der jetzt eher nicht so mein Fall ist, aber Danger Mouse is ganz cool und überhaupt die zwei Viktor Vaughn-Alben von MF DOom).

Eastside = a part of a city, egal if snoop talk about eastside (but westcoast) or Rakim say eastside (and east coast)

My advice, listen to what ya like, be yaself, and buy my mixtape, Bloodshot Beats Like Bombs Vol. 1 feat. Sha-Karl, Esko, Serk, Zwang, Tai Chi etc

Ich mache kein Dicken, es ist nun mal so, I was raised in DC, 75% black, grew up living "Ami hip hop life" like you all see on MTV and Viva, rap selber seit 11 Jahren, and Ive been in Berlin 3 years now becuz my dad is german. So I think i have a background to where I can talk.
Also, the point of this thread was supposed to be East Coast rap, I just wanted to point out some other rappers/musicians from the EAST COAST, not just NY, and -the- who doesnt even verstehe english just wanted to start something with me.

I never said Petey Pablo is my favorite.
But instead of reading 100 posts about Nas, jay, Biggie, and Dipset im mentioning some other EAST COAST artists (and i will tell you that REAL HEADZ from where Im from dont **** with Dipset, period. Camron got shot in DC not for his Lambo but because he a bitch!)
