von dem vontel album gibt es ne remastered version, hat die jemand geholt und könnte einen vergleich zum original ziehen?
 
Eine meiner Meinung nach verrückte Story, die ich hier Mal teilen möchte:

Seit vielen Jahren wurde auf der Bigtyme Homepage zwei DJ Screw Alben angekündigt, dass sie nochmal auf Vinyl herauskommen werden, da die damaligen Picture Vinyl releases ja schon lange vergriffen waren. Es handelte sich um die 3 in the morning and all screwed up, die ja auch im den 90er über das Label rund um Russel Washington released wurden.

Auf jeden Fall ist vor paar Wochen völlig überraschend die 3 in the morning als Doppel Vinyl auf discogs aufgetaucht.

Komisch war, dass auf der Bigtyme Homepage die Platte auch angeboten war aber für einen Preis von über 130 Dollar. Und auf Discogs genau nur von 2 Sellern aus Texas.

Die ersten Hintergründe/Gerüchte wurden in den comments oder in Reddit gepostet, dass Russel Washington keine Lust hatte die Platten zu shippen und deswegen direkt zu Plattenläden in Texas gefahren ist und sie direkt abgeladen/verkauft hat.

Es stellte sich aber heraus, dass der Mann Anfang des Jahres gestorben ist und das wohl tatsächlich sein letztes Releases ist. Was auch erklärt, warum es lokal distributiert wurde, aber nicht, warum weiterhin es nur über 2 seller von discogs zu kaufen gibt.

Stellt sich heraus, dass ein kleeeeeines Update am Artwork auf der Rückseite gemacht wurde, das bisher noch in keiner VÖ so benutzt wurde.

Mir ist es auch erst nicht aufgefallen, auf dem ersten Blick erkennt man zwar den neu platzieren BLM Sticker, das darüber stehende "straight" aber erst auf dem zweiten Blick. Völlig bekloppt.

Das ist auch der Grund, warum viele Plattenläden in Texas sich dagegen entschieden haben, sie zu vertreiben.

Auf jeden Fall eine Kuriosität. Ursprünglich sollte noch zu den 500 Einheiten eine weitere Charge von 1000 kommen, das wird aber höchstwahrscheinlich nicht mehr der Fall sein.
 
Dazzie Dee - Where's My Receipt

Dazzie Dee was originally slated to drop "Where's My Receipt?" back in 1996 on Capitol Records. After Dazzie Dee was dropped and the album was shelved he dropped "The Re-Birth" on indie label "Raging Bull Records". This album contained some of the tracks including unreleased material that didn't make the cut for "Where's My Receipt?".

In 2009 Dazzie Dee dropped an official reissue on his own Gee'd Up Records label which has been out of print for a while now. It was time for SWE to step in and bring this gem back to the streets. On the reissue we staid true to the original artwork and disc layout and we also used the dope promo sticker / front of the advance as the cover for the reissue. We went to work with the original track names and all tracks that appear on the album were initially recorded for this project meaning we dropped "Gee'd Up" and "G Stories" but added on 3 more tracks. In total we have 18 tracks of which 15 were produced by the legendary DJ Battlecat and the remaining 3 were handled by Dazzie Dee himself.

Guests include Coolio, Ice Cube, K-Dee, Tha Chill, Mixmaster Spade and one of the godfathers of gangsta rap Compton legend Toddy Tee.

Artwork handled by LDL and all mastering done by Jee Van Cleef.

The CD will be limited to only 250 copies and the double vinyl edition will drop in early November.

B.H.P. (Black Hole Posse) - Eastbound

B.H.P. (Black Hole Posse) is a legendary Denver, Colorado based rap group which consists of AK Love and O.G. Glide. This is there album titled, "Eastbound". The production on Eastbound is superior to most albums from the late 1990's. The "Nightfall" introduction is reminiscent of a Sade sound. Other songs like "The Block", "Scrilla", "Ride With Me" and "Niggas Be Hatin'" are solid hardcore gangster tales over laid back G-Funk Rhythms. Then there's tracks with versatile lyricism over being conveyed over dark and hard hitting gangster funk beats such as "Lyrical Twist", "Is There A Place", and "Valley Of Death". Let's not forget the mob style tale song's that even the women can get with like "Ballin'" and "Lover & Friend". There's also a club banger in "All Nite". This album is full of pure dopeness for you eardrums! We highly recommend this album to all Hip Hop enthusiasts.

Wobei das jetzt in diesem Fall wieder G-Man Stan war, der das auch produziert hat.
