Att Will - Do It Att Will

Willard Hughes (March 22, 1971 - October 5th 2017) aka Att Will was a Gangsta Rapper from Compton, CA. He was also affiliated with the Neighborhood Compton Crips, a local street gang.

He began rapping in the early 90's and recorded a few songs before his debut album in 1993 ("Where There's a Will, There's A Way", "Party's On", Nose Trouble", "Lock Up"...). He was also featured on 2 songs of Tweedy Bird Loc's first album, "187 Drive By", released in 1992, with the other members of his first group, Underground Connection.


In 1993, soon after the release of the single "Just Another Day In Compton", Att Will released his debut album, "Do It Att Will", on Big City Records. It is considered a classic by many and now SouthWest Enterprise is proud to announce the album's reissue on CD!

Unknown - 19916 (1997/2023)

Unknown was a Rap group out of Sacramento, CA consisting of Nico 43rd Block, Peril, Big City & Da Drifta. Their debut and only album "19916" is a tape release only, originally released in 1997. A real underground banger that find its way on CD for the first time in 2023.

Geil, auf Vontel bin ich damals durch die G-Funk Vibes Reihe von XL Middleton aufmerksam geworden, die hol ich mir auf jeden Fall.
 
Von der Vontel hatte ich bisher leider auch nur einen Bootleg auf CD, den ich damals mal auf gut Glück für nen überschaubaren Preis geholt habe. Werd ich dann jetzt auch mit dem Re-Release ersetzen. Sehr geiles Album auf jeden Fall. :thumbsup:

Irgendwie habe ich das Gefühl, dass es ein Sidelabel von armabillion ist. Zumindestens was man so liest von den Posts klingt 1:1 gleich.

Bei der 3-2 dachte ich auch, dass die bei 160 Einheiten in paar Wochen ausverkauft ist aber die lag doch noch für einige Monate im Shop rum. Mal schauen, wie es bei der ist.
