Einer meiner Favorite Producer hat ein neues Tape draussen, für seine Verhältnisse gut bis sehr gut - macht in der Sparte für mich trotzdem alles platt.

Das hab ich am meisten gefeiert, weils ziemlich straight und nicht so überbordend viele Interludes wie teils früher hat.

Auf seinem Kanal https://kabukininjalofi.bandcamp.com/ hats einiges, manches leider nur in Halbsnippet-Form o.ä. und gibt auch noch reihenweise Tape Only-Releases von u.a. Tree Demon Tapes, die ich irgendwann in 100 Jahren mal digitalisieren will (das Deadly Elegance x Black Sai-Tape war 10/10).

Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass die auf ihrem Tape-Film sind und daher die digitalen Versionen daher immer so absurd teuer sind?

Also solltest du jemals dazu kommen, würde ich ja auch einige dieser Tapes (DExBlackSai, aber v.a. natürlich das DeadlyElegance/LordBeatjitzu/GreenDutch/Spearman - Shaolin Vs WuTang) sehr willkommen heißen

Bei Deadly Elegance ist mein größtes Problem das von dir schon genannte: Atmosphäre der Tapes eigentlich immer top, aber die meisten Tapes sind 75% Kung-Fu-Dialog, die Songs selbst dann oft sehr unspektakulär und öde. Der hat imo nicht dasselbe Händchen dafür, Samples zu flippen wie manch anderer in diesem KungFu-Mikrokosmos (allen voran natürlich LBJ)

scheint so. Nicht selten kann man direkt auf der Bandcamp des Künstlers das digitale Tape für vernünftige Preise erwerben (Bspl Alpha Centori, da sinds 7$)

Neues Deadly Elegance!

Die nur 24 Tapes waren leider innert Minuten weg, als ich auf die Bandcamp-Pushnachricht geklickt habe, hatte es nur noch 1/24 bzw konnte das letzte ergattern.

täusch ich mich oder war das Tape zu Beginn nicht online zum Stream verfügbar? .... kann aber auch sein dass ich eines der anderen seiner Tapes im Kopf habe, wo's auf Bandcamp nur Snippets oder die Hälfte zu streamen gibt....
Ist jedenfalls auch mMn eines seiner besseren
