Vor ca. 10 Jahren begann Dufsen mit dem Produzieren von Beats und Texte zu schreiben.
Letzteres wurde irgendwann aufgegeben, sodass sich der Fokus nur noch auf die Produktion
legte. Nachdem er 2011 nach Köln zog lief ihm nach längerer Karenzzeit Spexo über den Weg, der
in der selben Gegend wie Dufsen aufwuchs. Man verstand sich auf Anhieb gut und beschloss sich
gegenseitig bei den Produktionen zu unterstützen, was in dem gemeinsamen
Instrumentalalbum ,,Collected Sounds’’ mündete. Zusammen konnten sie verschiedene Kontakte
innerhalb der Kölner HipHop-Szene knüpfen und lernten so Veedel Kaztro, Mels, TAMI, Ammo,
Sparky, Yourz und den Rest der heutigen Sektorwest Büdchengang kennen. Als fester Bestandteil
dieser Gruppierung wagt Dufsen nun sein erstes Solorelease mit dem Namen ,,The Beat
Generation’’. Ein in sich geschlossenes Instrumentalalbum, bei dem es um die liebe zu Samples
und der Musik geht. Dufsen hat sich zur Aufgabe gemacht ein großes Spektrum an Sounds,
Schnipseln und Musik unterschiedlicher Kontinente und Genres zusammenzuführen. Den Zuhörer
erwartet also eine Reise durch warme, analoge Beats von Soul & Jazz über Psychedelic, bis hin
zu asiatischen Kurzurlauben und der Rückkehr zu den Wurzeln.
