Bei Leuten wie JB feiert man halt auch das Potential und das Talent, aber natürlich ist der noch nicht am Ziel und kann sich steigern.

Good news !!

Joey hit Twitter earlier today to announce the title to his new project, B4da$$ (which is not a mixtape), slated to drop this Fall. On top of that announcement, he also made public that the late Pro-Era member Capital STEEZ will drop a posthumous project, King Capital this Summer. Nice.

Drake's "Started From The Bottom" is everyone's motto. It's yours, it's your friend's, it's your friend's cousin's godson's. However, one of the people that might not 100 percent buy into the mantra is Joey Bada$$. In his interview with us a while back, he said he was mad at the fact that he liked the Young Money crew before he blew up. But honestly, who really regrets listening to "Bedrock"?

Anyways, Wiz Khalifa and A$AP Rocky announced their "Under the Influence of Music" tour and revealed their supporting acts: B.o.B, Trinidad James and Joey Bada$$ & Pro Era. What's wrong with that sentence? For one, no Oxford comma. Secondly, if you're a Joey Bada$$ fan, it's the fact he's listed last; specifically, he's listed under Trinidad James, which is a no-no for Joey. He tweeted, "If I'm under Trinidad James I'm not doing the Under The Influence Tour. Straight." He followed it up by saying, "no disrespect to the man on gold. but I just don't like seeing myself at the bottom. APEX." They apparently squashed it with Joey tweeting a shoutout to Trinidad and saying he was being "childish and disrespectful."

Wow, ich bin von dem jungen und seinem Sound hellauf begeistert, beste Rapmusik die ich seit Ewigkeiten gehört habe. Genau dieser Sound ist, was mich dazu gebracht hat, mich in Rap zu verlieben und jetzt gibt es das wieder.
Und insbesondere zeigt das allen Spinnern, die meinen samplebasierte Beats mit saftigen Snares und Kicks hätten keinen Platz in der Gegenwart, dass sie sich ihre Kirmessynthesizer und Großraumdiscobanger gepflegt irgendwo hinstecken können :)
 
Am 12. Juni kommt die "Summer Knights EP" von Joey. Vermutlich als Freedownload :thumbsup:
 
Dachte vor nem Jahr oder so, dass es wieder nur so einer ist der da drüben gut gehyped wird und eigtl nicht sooo besonders ist. Mittlerweile gefallen mir seine neuen Tracks immer besser und ich werd zu nem Supporter über GT. Manchmal recht unorthodox sein Stil, aber fast immer nice ..
