Gestern geguckt, Typen kennt man ja durch Youtube. Beleuchtet die Monate vor dem Sturm aufs Kapitol und es kommen u.a. Alex Jones und der Proud Boys Chef zu Wort. Fand die sehr interessant, ist jetzt auch nicht übertrieben tendenziös und versucht diese Alt Right und QAnon Leute schon als Menschen darzustellen. Zeigt vor allem auch das die Wortführer extrem viel Geld verdient haben damit, Proud Boys Typ hat auch Biden Merch verkauft :D

Da HBO vllt demnächst bei Sky, ansonsten bei dem Dealer eures Vertrauens
 
Fand es auch gut, allerdings auch nicht viel Neues drin, er hat Alex und diesen Enrique ja auch schon mal interviewt. Krassestes fand ich diesen Pädo Fanatiker und die QAnon Family samt Kindern sowie die Szenen aus der hood. Aber andrew ist 1 guter und verdient jeden Support

Die Leute aus der Hood plus die Hillbillies und dieser "Schamane" haben bezeichnenderweise auch die klügsten Statements aller Protagonisten des Films geäußert.
 
Die radikalen Rep Abgeordneten im House trollen gerade McCarthy indem sie sich weigern für ihn zu stimmen, er hat jetzt schon 2 Wahlgänge verloren. Das System sieht das anscheinend nicht vor, deshalb müssen sie jetzt immer wieder abstimmen.

Eine veritable Shit Show. Jim Jordan kriegt von den Trumper und QAnon Leuten die Proteststimmen, McCarthy will nicht aufgeben.

Die Geister, die man rief und so.
 
Ist das amerikanische Repräsentenhaus und damit auch der Congress, also die Legislative, so lange gelähmt bis McCarthy oder ein anderer gewählt wird?
Könnte gar Pelosi zurück kommen? Wer da gute fundierte Infos bzw.einen Artikel zu hat, vielen Dank :thumbsup:

Rank-and-file Republicans have begun to feel out Democrats about what concessions they would need in exchange for them agreeing to either vote “present” or not show up, which would lower the threshold needed to become speaker, according to multiple sources familiar with that matter.

The informal conversations are taking place on the floor and are still in the early stages, but show how some Republicans are scrambling for an off-ramp as it becomes clear that Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s effort to win over GOP critics is going nowhere.

GOP leadership has not been involved yet, though one Republican lawmaker did go to McCarthy on the floor and informed him of the conversation they had with a Democrat about possible concessions in that type of scenario.

Democrats say there have been no formal offers and continue to insist they won’t bail out McCarthy, but could be open to helping out some sort of consensus candidate. Another GOP lawmaker said they would give it another week but if things aren’t resolve, is planning to encourage McCarthy to try to cut a deal with Democrats.

House Republicans hold 222 seats in the new Congress, so for McCarthy to reach 218, he can only afford to lose four GOP votes. His obstacle is that he faces a small but determined contingent of hardline conservatives who have so far been successful in denying him the votes to secure the gavel.

Long a staunch Trump ally, Gaetz’s refusal to bow to Trump’s desire for a McCarthy speakership raises new questions about the former president’s dwindling influence over Republicans in the midst of his third presidential campaign.

“If Matt Gaetz is ignoring you, that’s not a good sign,” said one Trump ally who is involved with his 2024 campaign.

Trump has been making calls on McCarthy’s behalf over the last 24 hours in an attempt to break the conservative blockade against him, this person said, but his efforts have so far been fruitless.

Und dabei hat trump sie aufgefordert, für Mc Carthy zu stimmen. Shitshow einfach. Das passiert, wenn du der eigenen politischen Bedeutungslosigkeit entgegenblickst und dir deshalb Faschos in deine Partei holst.

Lol. Wäre das system nicht so wunderbar auf 2 parteien ausgelegt, müssten die Republikaner sich mit diesem verstrahlten aluhüten gar nicht abgeben.
