Bohagon verlässt BME / Debütalbum

Atlanta Rapper Bohagon hat Lil Jons BME Label (Warner Brothers) verlassen. Grund für den Move ist die andauernde Verschiebung seines Debütalbums "Who I Am".

Der Longplayer wird nun im Sommer als Joint Venture zwischen Bohagons eigenes Label Black Cartel und Asylum Records erscheinen. Der Rapper in einem Statement:

"The way it was situated, my album was gonna come out behind Scrappy’s album. BME put out Scrap’s album and they ain’t like how Warner Brothers was doing things. Somehow the deal got messed up and BME wanted to part ways with Warner Brothers. Warner Brothers kept me, Scrappy, and E-40. So we just worked out a situation where they offered me to Atlantic and Asylum. I felt I would have a better chance at Asylum."

Schade um BME, aber kann Bohagon verstehen.. die kommen bei BMe nicht wirklich klar, Lil' Jon's "Crunk Rock" sollte 2006 erscheinen.. und nun arbeitet der noch an seinem Cartoon und E-40's Album mit..
