Ich greif mal die Idee aus dem International Gossip auf mit dem Thread.

Hier solls um die unserer Meinung nach besten Disses aus den Staaten gehen inkl auch gerne den teils epischen Hintergrundgeschichten egal aus welchem Zeitraum. Besteht ja nicht nur aus Ether und Hit em Up.

Machen wir einen Track pro Post und schreibt bitte noch jeweils eure Meinung und/oder Background/Ursprung dazu, egal in welcher Länge, damit das Vorhaben nicht zu einem weiteren blutleeren Aufzählungsthread mit kommentar- und zusammenhangslosen 5-Track-Beiträgen verkommt.

Aus dem reichhaltigen Fundus Game vs. 50/G-Unit einen sinnvollen Track zu picken ist nicht leicht, deshalb hier die repräsentative Wahl: inhaltlich natürlich keine Offenbarung aber ich mag dieses Jackin for beats-Prinzip, Games Flow passt mE perfekt auf auch längere solche Geschichten und zeigt wunderbar, wie völlig unverhältnismässig er sich in 50 und Anhang verbeisst. Das Niveau ist ebenfalls sehr schnell klargestellt, wenn zB Olivia von irgendeinem Shabab noch vor dem ersten Beat als Mann bezeichnet wird oder Game mit 50s Kopf auf dem Mixtape-Cover rumpost.

Inhaltlich ists auch nicht das ganz grosse Feuerwerk, auch wenns schon einige gute Ansagen drin hat:

Yela rappt das technisch sehr stark runter, das Video passt dazu und es kommen die richtigen Leute unter die Räder. Von Antworten weiss ich nix, glaube aber kaum, dass einer von denen das hier nur ansatzweise toppen kann.

Dieser Track war so weak, dass Cube ihm nicht mal einen Antworttrack gewürdigt hat, oder? Ich erinnere mich nur an ein paar verstreute Zeilen wie "I'm bombin' on Common Sense...". Common war nicht mal ein Gegner. Viel witziger, dass die später in einem der Barbershop-Teile zusammen geschauspielt haben. Common schmierigster, unsympathischster Rapper überhaupt. Richtiger creep.
