[/float]Gegenüber MTV verriet 50 Cent die ersten Details zu seinem kommenden Solo-Album. Der Longplayer, inzwischen der dritte Major Solo-Release von Fitty, wird den Titel "Before I Self Destruct" tragen und voraussichtlich im Frühjahr 2007 über G-Unit / Interscope erscheinen.
Soundmäßig wird das neue Album allerdings etwas mehr in die RnB/Soul Richtung gehen, so der G-Unit Chef. Bei den Aufnahmen lies er sich unter anderem von Motown Artists wie Smokey Robinson inspirieren und nahm bereits Tracks mit Hit-Produzent Rich Harrison auf. 50 über "Before I Self Destruct":
Weitere Details zum Album sind noch nicht bekannt.
Im Januar ist 50 Cent zusammen mit Samuel L. Jackson und Jessica Biel mit "Home of the Brave" in den amerikanischen Kinos zu sehen.

"I show more vulnerability on this record than on others. I'm in a space where I can experiment a little bit. I mean, I felt a lot of pressure between each one of my projects. And they don't say, 'Do you think 50 can make a good record?' They say, 'Do you think he can do it again?' And that means [if I will] have the same success as I've had on each one of those projects. They don't care whether the state of the music business is changing; they'll say I've failed if I don't do what I did on the first two projects."
