"Back in 1983, Hashim's ?Al Naafiysh“ became one of the defining electro classics. 25 years later, 2 dope boys from Berlin – Marc Hype & Jim Dunloop – pay hommage with their seminal new-funk version (available on their album ?Stamp Out Reality“ and on the double a-side 12“ ?Rare Occasion“). Due to the versatile qualities of the song, we started a remix competition. Our five favourites are now available on one digi EP. Don't expect the usual MPM style (if there is one for you), it's a mixed bag of 8-bit electro, deep house, knarz house and slomo dub." (Aus der Presseinfo)
