Rapper Young Vito Named As Suspect In Slim Dunkin's Murder

Police are looking for Young Vito, who they say is "in danger."

Police have determined that rapper Young Vito is a suspect in the murder of Brick Squad affiliate Slim Dunkin, which occurred last week.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the 28-year-old, whose real name is Vinson Hardimon, is yet to turn himself in on suspicion of fatally shooting Dunkin in the chest last Friday (Dec. 16th). Police are encouraging him to turn himself in, as they have reason to believe he might be in danger.

"We are urging Mr. Hardimon to turn himself in to authorities because we have reason to believe he may be in danger," read their release.

Police are asking that anyone with information contact Atlanta Crimestoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or contact the Atlanta Police Department's homicide unit at 404-546-4235.

Joa, ist ja klar dass die Brick Squad Leute nicht mit den Cops kooperieren werden sondern die Sache selbst regeln wollen. Bei der Polizei ist er echt am sichersten.
 
Da gibt es doch sicher die Todesstrafe drauf, oder? Also streben wird der Typ sowieso.
 
Kommt auf den Bundesstaat an. Todesstrafe oder nicht ist Sache der Justiz des jeweiligen Staates. Aber in dem Fall träfe es zu, Georgia straft noch mit dem Tod.

Das lächerlichste daran ist aber halt wirklich, dass Slim erschossen wurde weil ein Streit ausbrach über irgendeine Süßigkeit :thumbsdown:

Ich dachte am Anfang, dass "piece of candy" irgend ein Slangbegriff für was halbwegs weltbewegendes sein soll.
 
Ja ich dachte auch erst, es wäre um eine Frau gegangen oder so...

Young Vito, the man suspected of shooting Slim Dunkin after an argument over candy, turned himself in to police on Monday.

Detective David Quinn spoke about Vito turning himself in, saying "We got a call from Mr. Hardimon's attorney. They wanted to turn themselves in to me personally."

Police say Young Vito, born Vincent Hardimon, shot shot and killed Mario Hamilton, known as rapper Slim Dunkin, on Dec. 16 at a recording studio on Memorial Drive.

Police say witnesses at the scene gave information, but they are still searching for more clues as evidence to what went down in the studio.
