Für mich persönlich mit Knxwledge "Hud Dreems" und Hubert Daviz "Framework" eins der besten Instrumental Releases dieses Jahr.

Zum kotzen...hab die Edition mit Cap etc. direkt bei Hector Macello bestellt....und die Spasten verschicken das in einem weißen Torten-Karton (!) der viel zu klein ist. Platte sieht dementsprechend aus wie vom Flohmarkt:

Erster Eindruck: Feines Teil, wie aus einem Guss durchzuhören, mich stört bloß die hohe Anzahl der eingesetzten Vocal-Samples etwas, ansonsten wie erwartet ein sehr chilliges Album, Kauf hat gelohnt.

Ich bin erstmals enttäuscht von einem seiner Releases. Langweilt mich von vorne bis hinten.

Naja, ist eben ne Frage mit welchen Erwartungen man an so ein Release rangeht. Die Brenk-Releases die ich kenne sind alle eher keine super ausgefuchsten vielschichtigen Beatart-Platten sondern sowas wie gut ausproduzierte Instrumental/Beat-Tapes. Bei diesem hier kommt noch der titelgebende rote Faden hinzu, ich find das schon gut umgesetzt. Allerdings muss ich auch sagen dass der erste Soundschnipsel ("Time has come") mich ein wenig geblendet hat, an dessen Qualität kommt der Rest des Albums für meinen Geschmack nämlich nicht ran.
