“Amazing” is the first release off Sparrow the Movement’s forthcoming album The Jacob Theology: Book 1.

Produced by Switzerland’s best kept secret, SWC (Supreme War Clique), “Amazing” odes to a day when simply beats and rhymes were hip-hop’s general protocol. SWC lays down a proverbial canvas that literally fights with itself. It moves with such Grace that although it feels slow and melodic the BPM is in the upper eighties. The instrumentation and drum programming make this track a smooth and attractive calamity; executed perfectly. It’s Amazing. And Fla-Fla adds to this clement rasping with Christ-inspired lyrics such as: “That I’m the child of a Father so awesome makes sense like the Asian kids who made my Jordan’s; my portion is on display, on this day, because His pay, forced His grace, to forge my way.”

The single balances Fla-Fla’s convictions both in Faith and Hip-Hop. The track is the perfect landscape for Christ-inspired lyrics with a Hip-Hop purist’s conviction. But you would never confuse this with Christian rap. Behold, Sparrow the Movement will do a new thing; Christ-inspired, but all Hip-Hop. No need for sub - genres.

Hmm, den Track finde ich irgendwie langweilig im Vergleich zum letzten Release.

Liegt wohl am Beat. Der ist mir schon zuuu laid back. Da knallt nix.

auf der bandcamp seite ja, da das album bisher noch gar nicht erschienen ist.
ist aber wie gesagt bereits komplett geleaked, leider nur in schlechter 192 kbps quali.

Was hast du für einen Rattenrip? 160kbps klingt CDQ...bzw. von CD - für Hip-Hop reicht sogar diese...schade, dass nur "Amazing" richtig gut ist...wird im Boombaprealm sicher zu den TOP 2015 zählen...alles über 128 ist praktisch akzeptabel, speziell bei eher primitiver Hip-Hop Musik...bei anderen Genres hört man wesentlich schneller den Unterschied, wobei es gibt halt auch genügend Idioten die nicht fähig sind ein Vinyl zu bearbeiten...ein Auftauchen multipler Euroboombapemulatoren und das Sterben Amis dieser Machart wird wohl Hip-Hop endgütlig zerstören...jedoch wurde hier eh anständige Arbeit geleistet...in den 90ern hätte nur der erste Track überlebt...

Außerdem was ist das für eine Art "in schlechter 192er Quali" - dann kauf es gefälligst, dann kannste flac hören bis die CD da ist...die Jungs wollten ja beim ersten BESTEN Album schon Kohle abgreifen...besonders der Produzent...
