Pennsylvania geht an die Demokraten.
Knappes Rennen. Sieht nicht so gut aus für die Republikaner. Trumps Buddies losen ab. Parallel gewinnt DeSantis in Florida souverän. Falls die Republikaner den Senat verlieren war es das für Trump. Er wird dann wahrscheinlich abgesägt. Ein Wahlsieg 2024 ist doch mit ihm völlig ausgeschlossen. Da hat DeSantis die besseren Chancen.
 
Zum Glück nicht so deutlich wie ich befürchtet hatte.

Dass Herschel Walker in Georgia allerdings echt eine reelle Chance hat lässt einen schon staunen.

Freut mich aber sehr dass in Pennsylvanien mit Fetterman ein blue collar Kandidat gewonnen hat. Mehmet Oz war ja auch ein Trump Buddy (man muss ihm aber auch zugestehen dass er sich von seinem eigenen Kampagnen Team distanzieren musste weil dieses Fetterman wegen seines Schlaganfalls angegriffen hat und Oz das nicht korrekt fand).


Ansonsten gute News: Kalifornien, Vermont und Michigan haben Abtreibungsrechte in ihren Bundestaats-Verfassungen festgeschrieben bzw. gestärkt:

The passage of ballot Proposal 3 amends the Michigan constitution to establish an “individual right to reproductive freedom, including right to make and carry out all decisions about pregnancy.”

Michigan has a 1931 law that essentially bans abortion in the state, but that law is being blocked by the courts. The passage of the ballot proposal helps prevent the ban from taking effect.

“Proposition 1 ensures that no matter what the future legislature looks like, what the future governor looks like, that people in California have a constitutional protection that explicitly ensures the state won’t interfere with their right to reproductive freedom,” Jodi Hicks, the head of Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California and co-chair of the Yes on Prop 1 campaign, previously told CNN.

The Vermont Constitution will now be amended to read: “That an individual’s right to personal reproductive autonomy is central to the liberty and dignity to determine one’s own life course and shall not be denied or infringed unless justified by a compelling State interest achieved by the least restrictive means.”

Abortion is currently legal at all stages of pregnancy in Vermont. The proposed amendment was first brought by the Vermont Legislature in 2019.

Vermont for Reproductive Liberty Ballot Committee, the coalition that backed Article 22, had previously said state-level protections “are vital to safeguarding access” now that the US Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade.

Bin etwas enttäuscht , das bedeutet im Umkehr Schluss aber auch das es erstmal wieder kein starkes Europa gibt, weil sie sich nicht von Amerika lösen.

Jetzt hängen sie weiterhin ab den Eiern und hoffen und warten was der alte Mann da macht.

Erdrutschsieg Florida schon extrem vorhersehbar wenn man anschaut, wer aus welchen Gründen während der Pandemie entschieden hat, nach FL zu ziehen
 
Witzig übrigens: NY hat "fairere" Bezirke gezogen weil die Dems dort (und generell viele in der Partei) das gerrymandering abschaffen wollen. Resultat: hohe Zahl an Bezirken ging plötzlich an die Reps.

De Santis/Florida haben ihre Bezirke noch radikaler gerrymandered und siehe da, Erdrutschsieg :D

Ist jetzt vereinfacht dargestellt aber man erkennt daran gut dass dieses Fairplay nicht funktioniert wenn es keinen Konsens dazu gibt
 
Die Sache mit den Wahlbezirken ist doch ein Witz, da man die nie wirklich fair gestalten kann. Da ist das Wahlsystem grundsätzlich einfach broke.
