I woke up by the sound of a siren,
Jumped out of my bed, rubbed my eyes and
Was upset, cause I was realising,
There´s war going on outside, no fantasising.
Enemysoldiers are coming up in the horizon.
Few seconds later I heard the gunfiring,
Children were hiding, soldiers were dying,
Women were crying and searching for asylum.
Grenades were flying, the people were lying
On the ground, they wait a little while and
Started rising, started organising,
Grabbed their own weapons and helmets made of iron.
I´m not dramatising, just publicising,
Just verbalising, just vocalising,
Just visualising in form of my rhyming.
The war is in my town – Stop smiling!
Hook:
Is it a dream or is it reality?
Ist es die Realität um die sich´s dreht?
Is it the truth or a scary mentality?
Wir erkennen die Gefahr erst wenn sie neben uns steht.
Today is Judgement Day, so better run away,
Find a place to hide and drop your A.K.
This ain’t Plug ‘n’ Play, this is Duck ‘n’ Pray.
Tank are coming up and they start to sway.
Don’t try your luck or may you get locked away,
But in all probability you get shot, okay?
There’ll die a lot today, I do not overplay.
Or am I dreaming? – It’s hard to say.
What is war for? Always more gore,
Always more roar in front of your door.
It rains blood, sweat and tears,
One aimed shot – death appears.
You saw your father falling down.
You know your brothers calling now.
You crawl around on the ground with a bleeding brawling wound.
Call him now! Tell him to come – There is war in town.
