CALI IZ ACTIVE! The long awaited video from Tha Dogg Pound is finally here. This video features cameos from many on the west coast including DJ Quik, Ice Cube, WC, Mc Eiht, Too Short, King Tee, Warren G, Yo Yo, B-Real, JT the Bigga Figga, Jelly Roll, Mykestro, Kam, Xzibit, Glasses Malone, Roscoe, Battlecat, Dilated Peoples, Fred Wreck, Daddy V, Tyrese, Crazy Toones, Big Boy and much more. The west coast reunion was beautiful, as DJ Quik stated, ""Look...this remind me of "G Thang" video, you know that video is like 12 years old, we haven't had this kind of comradery in a long time, so its wonderful." -

bei liedern wie diesen - und bei "gangsta boogy - space odysee" von kurupt - merk ich immer, dass richtige westcoast musik eigentlich schon das beste ist. da hat man alles! geile beats, gute rapper und sänger die nicht rnb-rap-mäßig klingen -> nate dogg!

Infos zum Album

Nachdem die legendäre Westcoast Crew Tha Dogg Pound sich vor kurzem wieder vereint hat, wird nun ihr nächstes Album, vorraussichtlich am 27.Juni released werden. "Cali Iz Active" soll ihr neues Werk heißen und wird natürlich Tracks von Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger and Kurupt a.k.a. Young Gotti beinhalten. Weitere Features sind werden unter anderem von RBX, Bad Azz, Soopafly, Busta Rhymes, B-Real, David Banner und Paul Wall geleistet.

Die Produktion der Platte haben Fredwreck, Battlecat, The Alchemist, Jazzy Fay und Sean "Diddy" Combs in die Hände genommen. Snoop´s Doggy Style Records und Koch Records werden den Vertrieb übernehmen.

Mit dieser langen Liste an Features und Producern, mit hochkarätigem Namen könnte "Cali Iz Active" wirklich für große Überraschungen sorgen.

We premiered the video to Tha Dogg Pound's latest single "Cali Iz Active" a few days ago. The feedback has been crazy, and anybody who's seen it knows why. Dubcnn was on the scene during the shooting of the video, and we have put together an exclusive "Making Of" feature of the "Cali Iz Active" video for our visitors.

The feature lets you get a taste of the atmosphere that day: from the artists chilling, having a good time, to WC and DJ Quik C/B-Walking and Fredwreck doing magic tricks. We also got drops from some of the artists from the insane lineup up showed up.
