Killer Mike & El-P: Tag the Jewels

Tag the Jewels is a worldwide street art initiative for which over 30 artists across 6 continents were invited to remix the group’s iconic album cover art - two opposing hands, one forming a gun, the other holding a chain.

The artists were given a very simple brief and the freedom to express their own unique interpretations of Nicholas Gazin’s original artwork.

These signature pieces designed by respected local artists have gone up contemporaneously on walls from Los Angeles to Lagos, Paris to Jakarta, Sao Paolo to New Delhi and many more. It is the first global installation of it’s kind.

Run the Jewels is grateful to these talented artists for their generous and inspiring contributions.

wieder saugutes album. der erste part von killer mike auf "jeopardy" rückt direkt die verhältnisse kurz zurecht, dabei is das nich mal sein bester part.
krassester song bis jetz auf jeden fall "close your eyes", übelste knastaufstandmucke die beats erinnern mich an so düstere dystopie-filme, die in der zukunft spielen, wie zb "escape from new york". an den "the fifth element"-soundtrack musste ich auch immer wieder denken.

hab mir den ersten teil jetz auch mal noch bestellt, so was gehört trotz free download unterstützt.

die hat noch besagten gangsta boo-part auf "love again" und als bonustrack noch "blockbuster night pt. 2". hab einfach die beiden tracks noch auf ne cd gebrannt und die in das fach der hülle gepackt, wo das poster drin is.

Grandioses Ding geworden! Dunklere Beats, dunklere Grundstimmung insgesamt. Sehr gute Lyrics und grandiose Seitenhiebe bzw. Sozialkritik par excellence!
