Laut Berichten könnte auch der Mord an Thugs Baby Momma kein Zufall bzw. nicht random wegen einer Bowlingkugel gewesen sein. Zuletzt hat es ja auch 2 von Thugs engsten Vertrauten seit Anfangstagen erwischt.

Thugs YSL Gang und Luccis YFN beefen seit Jahren. Witzig ist, dass obwohl Thug ein Blood ist die YSL Gang wohl einen Deal mit den Rolling 60s Crips hat.

YSL might be thought of as a descendant of the old-school Raised on Cleveland set, which went by ROC … or ROB, because Bloods replace the Cs in words with Bs. YSL has had a long-running feud with YFNBC, which is also a Bloods-affiliated crew with roots in Summerhill, fronted by Rayshawn Bennett…better known as the rapper YFN Lucci.

Lucci’s beef with Young Thug and YSL began with the death of Donovan “Big Nut” Thomas in a drive-by shooting in Castleberry Hill in 2015. Thomas was a Bloods gang leader who introduced Lucci to producers who ultimately helped him build his career. Lucci has long credited Thomas with his success. YSL is broadly suspected of being responsible for the crime, which divided Atlanta into two warring camps.

YSL has since been identified in court records as a hybrid gang with ties to the Rolling 60’s Neighborhood Crips, adding a Bloods-Crips dimension to things. Gang politics are complicated.



Nonetheless, even before Thomas’ death, Lucci and Young Thug have been at odds. Lucci claimed to have slept with Thug’s fiancée. Lucci has wished “happy birthday” to one of Thug’s children on social media, in a way that might have implied a threat. Someone subsequently shot up Lucci’s home, more than once, wounding Lucci’s mother in the process.

Damekion Garlington and Quantavious Grier — Jeffrey Williams’ brother, the rapper Unfoonk — talked with an inmate at Fulton County jail who had a contraband cell phone last month. According to the indictment, Unfoonk talked about arranging the murder of someone threatening YSL gang members in the jail, and of flying a drone to a jail window to deliver more contraband cell phones.

In another allegation, Christian “Bad Bhris” Eppinger and Antonio Sumlin apparently asked Young Thug for permission to try to kill rival rapper Rayshawn “YFN Lucci” Bennett in prison. This may be the source of Bennett’s legal complaint after being stabbed in prison, in which he suggested there was a bounty on his head. The attempt on Lucci’s life is a count in the indictment.

The idea that the cops had planted cell phones with inmates to monitor calls like this apparently hadn’t occurred to them. The police suggested they had done something like that when they showed images from Christian Eppinger’s locked-down Instagram page in a press conference.

Unfoonk is a free man only because his brother paid exorbitant amounts of money to lawyers to find a loophole in his 2007 murder conviction. Grier had been sentenced to life for murdering a man over $1,200. Lawyers successfully argued that prosecutors required a second witness to corroborate the evidence.

Many of the people indicted have been in jail or prison for a while on other charges — murders, armed robberies, drug crimes and more.

Lil Baby wurde wohl anscheinend auch in irgendeinem Teil der Anklagen erwähnt und könnte ebenfalls demnächst per RICO einfahren
