Mase hat mit Harlem World ein durchweg starkes Album, auf Double Up erinnere ich mich an zwei gute Tracks und sein Welcome Back Album war doch Müll. Also der konnte schon was aber übertreiben brauchen wir auch nicht.

Kann man sich Harlem World anhören? Hab das als fast durchgehende Bad Boy-Charts-Nummer in Erinnerung aber auch vor 10-15 Jahren das letzte Mal durchgeskippt.

Hip Hop can never shake the ongoing trend of unpaid royalties, and it looks like Nas is about to be in the middle of a battle with a legendary producer. According to a report from Page Six, Pete Rock is planning on suing Nas, who allegedly hasn’t paid him a dime for his contributions to the Queensbridge rap legend’s debut album Illmatic.

Pete Rock and his attorneys claim Nas signed a contract stating the producer would get a cut of the money made off the classic track “The World Is Yours.” The money owed is apparently in the millions, and although the attorneys reached out to Nas and his team, there was no response.

“Nas and his people have stonewalled me since 1994; My New Year’s resolution is to be compensated for my hard work on Illmatic,” Pete Rock told Page Six.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Ye got into some sort of argument that allegedly turned physical around 3 AM in DTLA. We're told the incident occurred near the Soho Warehouse. We do not know if Ye was at Soho before the incident, but given the time, it seems likely.

We're told Kanye allegedly pushed and then punched a male fan ... the case is being investigated as misdemeanor battery ... a crime that carries a maximum jail sentence of 6 months.

FOX 11 -- who first broke the story -- says Kanye knocked the fan to the ground.

Justin Johnson, who was captured Tuesday in Indiana, nearly two months after the slaying, was held in juvenile custody after he was tried at age 17 on charges of aggravated rape and aggravated robbery, Shelby County District Attorney General Amy Weirich told a news conference. He also served time for shooting three people at a bowling alley and had been arrested on state drug and weapons charges, Weirich said.


Cornelius Smith, 32, served three years for attempted robbery and aggravated assault, Weirich said. He was arrested last month on an auto-theft warrant involving the vehicle used in Young Dolph’s killing, and a grand jury indicted him on first-degree murder and other charges on Tuesday. He’s being held in Shelby County jail in Memphis.

The feud almost got deadly between the rappers as Youngsta was arrested and charged for being involved in the February 2017 murder attempt on Dolph’s life in which his SUV was shot at over 100 times. Fortunately for him at the time, the vehicle was bulletproof.

Youngsta was charged with six counts of discharging a firearm into occupied property and one count of felony conspiracy. Dolph had escaped unharmed.
