gutes release, hat die kurve wieder bekommen. letzte loosies fand ich stark unspektakulär.
 
finds leider nicht so gut, was zum teufel ist denn mit dem beat von bad intentions passiert? Das kann man doch so auch nicht als free-release droppen?

rihanna-feature ganz nett, ansonsten kann ich die hater mittlerweile verstehen. party hat echt 10 mal weniger von dem, was the weeknd hat. muss das album aber noch genauer hören.
 
Man kann die beiden nicht vergleichen. Abel ist viel massentauglicher und war von Tag 1 für größeres bestimmt.

Party wird für ewig Niche bleiben. Ist halt wirklich nur was für die R&B Heads.

Fand aber alles nach dem ersten Party Album auch eher so semi spannend.

Das hier find ich nach dem ersten hören aber ziemlich ok, hat nen schönen Frühlings Vibe.
 
finds bis auf die etwas schnelleren nummern richtig stark. produktion extrem geil, hat viel drake rnb vibes

lange nicht so gute qualität von ihm gehört

Ein paar Tracks hätte man streichen können, aber gefällt mir soweit auch ganz gut. Find auch die etwas schnelleren Sachen tun dem Ganzen echt gut, lockert alles etwas auf und sorgt dafür, dass das nicht so eintönig ist wie manche seiner anderen Projekte. Generell cool, dass er bei so Sachen wie "PGT" und vor allem "Savage Anthem" (trotz manch cringer Line auf jeden Fall das Highlight, was für ein Dystopie-Beat :eek: ) auch mal etwas aus seiner Komfortzone kommt. "Eye On It" auch ein sehr stattlicher Hit. :thumbsup:
 
hab’s jetzt noch paar mal durchlaufen lassen. gefällt mir mittlerweile besser als anfangs. drake-feature nervt allerdings sehr, kann nicht mal bad bunny auf dem remix retten.

Mochte die Nummer als Single auch nicht, im Album Kontext finde ich geht sie in Ordnung.

Album ist ok. Letztes Drittel am stärksten.
 
zwar schon ein wenig n baukasten album mit diesen moody slowjams mit texas asthetics zu beginn dann den tanzbaren karibisch beeinflussten tracks danach usw. aber ich feier trotzdem und es is stilistisch gesehen schon rund genug

"showing you" mit gewissen destiny's child/tlc vibes wegen dieser harfe (herrn schindler gefällt das)
hier und da packt er recht thuggerlike vocals aus
 
"Loyal" war die letzten Wochen oft in Rotation, aber musste wieder feststellen, dass er mir auf Albumlänge einfach zu langweilig ist, sonderlich viel bleibt vom Album nicht hängen...
Da find ich Majid Jordan und dvsn doch um einiges spannender!
Und was soll eigentlich der bescheuerte Albumtitel?!? :confused:
