Ill WILL war Proudcer,DJ und Nas sein bester freund, mit 20 Jahren wurde Ill will ( Willy Graham ) in Queensbridge erschossen (1992) .

Nas ist so ziemlich das Beste was New York zu bieten hat. Kein Scheiß, der Mann ist in meinen Augen eine Legende und Ikone des Rap.

Was ich bei Nas bemerkenswert finde, ist, dass sich jedes Album anders an hört(im Gegeansatz zu vielen anderen Rappern) und dass er immer wieder was neues ausprobiert. Ich kenn keinen der so kreativ ist wie Nas.
Beispiele:

Illmatic- In Sachen Lyrics und Flow fast schon revolutionär zu jener Zeit, hat Niveau der Lyrics im Rapgame angehoben

It Was Written- wohl eines der kreativsten Rapalben aller Zeiten, ich sag nur ,,I Gave You Power"(rappt aus der Sicht einer Pistole)

I am- Storytelling (Undying Love !)

Nastradamus- schlechtestes Album, aber trotzdem ist das absoltute Street Poetry-->Project Windows !

Stillmatic- Rewind (Story rückwärts erzählt), One Mic-->lauter/leiser werdende Stimme !

God's Son- Book of Ryhmes (rappt aus seinem Reimbuch. wird zwar nicht so gewesen sein, aber die Idee allein ist schon genial

Streets Disciple- vielleicht sein kreativstes Album, Sekou Story/Live Now-gepichte Stimme von Nas (Scarlett); Biographie von Rakim !
