Laut Birdman soll Carter 5 dieses Jahr erscheinen.

Wie oft hat er das jetzt schon behauptet? Habe aufgehört zu zählen :D

Mannie Fresh added that he'd like to do another take of his contributions to the album. "I think my songs should be revamped," Fresh said. "I don’t know what the other songs are but I don’t like the songs that I did because it took too long to come out."

The producer also said that, though Wayne's output has slowed down, his work ethic is still unmatched: "Last time we got together in the studio, dude did six songs in one night so I was like, 'Oh my God, you still the same, dude.' I tapped out. I’m like, 'Bro, I’m older than you. I got shit to do like sleep."

so

Lil Wayne is allegedly trying to take the Young Money imprint off of Cash Money, according to reports from The Blast. The feud he's been having with Birdmanseems to have trickled down to his own imprint. The report says that Lil Wayne is sick of Birdman cashing in on his hard work and either wants the music label to be dealt with properly or dissolved from the Cash Money imprint. Wayne reportedly said he feels he's brought an enormous amount of talent to the company, especially with Drake and Nicki Minaj, but says he was bamboozled by Birdman.

He’s the most gracious respectful man I’ve ever worked for. He’s been great to me, and I’m like the odd duck in this crew for sure. I’m an older white woman, old enough to be his mom, who’s definitely not an avid rap listener. But that’s never had any bearing on how he’s treated me. He just wanted someone he could trust, someone who could do the job to his standards, and he’s got a work ethic like a mule for sure.
