This year’s Grammy Awards was yet another big night for Kanye West, even if he was off playing tambourine in Brazil. Today CBS 2 Chicago asked a few of Yeezy’s high school teachers about Chi-Town’s favorite son and his rise to fame. Mostly Ye’s former educators were proud and unsurprised by his success, given his deep and eclectic knowledge of music.

When asked about Kanye’s infamous run-in with Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, one less-than-shocked teacher said, “even in high school he sometimes spoke out before he thought about the consequences … he’s just impulsive.” Watch the whole segment up above.

In a recent interview with Hitfix, both The-Dream and Malik Yusef confirmed that they've been working with Yeezy on new material for his sixth solo album.

"[Kanye] is a perfectionist, obviously. It's harsh. He says no to a hundred things," Yusef explained. "I can't talk too much about it. Just remember black music, the black experience. It's a throwback to that era...[and] a distillation of what's happening in the modern world...I don't know if we'd ever revisit that amount of singing [that he did on 808s & Heartbreaks]."

hat eigentlich so eine aussage jemals gestimmt und ist so eingetroffen? ich geb mittlerweile rein gar nichts mehr auf solche äußerungen im vorfeld.
