IT’S A HORSE RACE: Beyonce may rule this week’s HITS Top 50 album sales tally, but all eyes are on next week’s chart, which is already shaping up as a two-way battle for the top between IDJ’s Kanye West, with initial one-day estimates in the 450-500k range, and Geffen’s Guns N’ Roses Best Buy exclusive, as predictions still vary widely from 300-500k, depending on who you ask. And remember, that total will include the 25k iTunes sales from their Sunday release date, withheld from this week’s chart. As for the other two parts of IDJ’s Super Monday, Ludacris appears in the 175-225k area, with the Killers anywhere from 150-200k, which could be enough to give L.A. Reid, Bartels and company three in the Top 5. Still, keep in mind that there is no historical precedent for a Monday release date, so don’t necessarily bet the house on these numbers
