Warum hat er Beef mit Jeezy?
[more]10zeichen![/more]Was Jeezy supportive of you doing your own thing?
Fuck no. Anything he tells you, it’s going to be fake. I am going to give you the real. He gonna give you the sugarcoated version. That’s the difference between me and him. He gonna give you the sugarcoated shit, I am going to give you the real. At first, when that whole split happened, I was being political about it. I was thinking, ‘Man, I don’t want to fuck up my relationship.’ But fuck that shit, my toller Typ. I’m feeding the whole city. That toller Typ don’t do shit for me. I am going to point a toller Typ out when he bogus and he was bogus for not owing up to his business relationship and doing what he was supposed to do business-wise. Like I said, I never needed the toller Typ to do nothing for me, but do what you said what you were gonna do. You don’t hold true to your word, I don’t respect you. So I don’t respect no toller Typ that don’t hold true to his word. All that shit you rapping; I don’t respect none of that shit.
Freddie Gibbs and Madlib are still on track to release their collaborative project, Piñata, this year. Today they share a new record, "Robes," which includes a verse a piece from Odd Future members Earl Sweatshirt and Domo Genesis. The soulful production is Madlib at his finest as he takes a beautiful female vocal sample and fuses it with a laid back melody. "Robes" was premiered last night on DJ Benji's BCC Radio 1 show, which is why there's a few radio drops throughout the record.
Gibbs and Madlib's Piñata will be released March 18 through Madlib Invazion. Additional guests include Raekwon, Scarface, Mac Miller, and Ab-Soul.
