Jas Prince hat Drake auf Myspace entdeckt und dann zu Wayne gebracht, J. Prince hat ihm dann 1 Mio. gegeben und gesagt er soll ein Label starten und Drake signen, daraufhin wurde ein Deal mit Cash Money/YMCMB ausgehandelt bei dem Drake dort signen würde und Prince eben mitverdient. Damals haben sich Cash Money und Rap A Lot auch noch gut verstanden, mittlerweile wurden sie von Prince auf 1 (oder 2?) Mio Dollar an Anteilen verklagt wegen angeblichem Mismanagement

On October 6th, Jas Prince returned to court explaining he feared the money he was owed would never be seen if the court didn’t take action immediately. Prince explained that per the deal he signed with Aspire, he was owed his commission on Drake’s music, which he now claimed came out to a total of 11 MILLION DOLLARS.

He said Aspire and Cortez Bryant were refusing to collect on the money owed to Jas against Cash Money. Jas believed this was due to their friendship with Lil Wayne and Cash Money/Young Money. Therefore, he demanded the court appoint a temporary receiver to sue Cash Money for him since he cannot sue them per his deal with Aspire.

Then on October 20th, Jas Prince filed docs in federal court explaining to the judge that he has reached a settlement with one of the two shareholders of Aspire Music and expects to reach a deal with the other one in the next few days. He says that once the deal is finalized the case will be over.

Zu wie viel % die Prince-Family an Drake`s Einnahmen beteilligt ist,wird wohl eher nicht im Netz stehen,aber dürfte schon ein nettes Sümmchen bei rumkommen.
Diese ganze "Rücken"-Sache sehe ich eher zwiespältig.Einerseits natürlich müßig darüber zu spekulieren ob die Goons von Rapper XY aus Süd-Houston härter sind als die Goons von Rapper AB aus Virginia Beach,insbesondere weil man sich da eh auf """"""Street Gossip"""""" a.k.a. "Geschreibsel in Amirap-Foren" verlässt,andererseits ist diese ganze Straßenkomponente in den Staaten dann halt doch anders gelagert als hierzulande.
Man brauch ja nur zu schauen aufgrund welcher Albernheiten ein Multi-Millionen Unternehmen wie Death Row zugrunde ging oder Big L,Pac oder Biggie ihr Leben ließen.
Das man bei irgendwelchen Gigs,Shoppingtouren oder Clubbesuchen nicht Lust darauf hat ständig Paranoia zu schieben,weil die eigene "Security" nicht aus nepalesischen Gurkhas besteht,die in Afghanistan Konvois bewachen,sondern eher aus Ex-Linemen oder im Gefängnis cheatcurlenden Kleinkriminellen,die zwar irgendwelche 60kg Groupies oder angetrunkene Fans auf Abstand halten können,gegen wild rumballernde loco Hood toller Typ aber eher wenig Schutz bieten,ist sicherlich auch ein Faktor.
