[Blaugrana]

Chromatics are a band from Portland, Oregon, whose lineup features singer Ruth Radelet, guitarist Adam Miller, drummer Nat Walker, and producer/multi-instrumentalist Johnny Jewel. Chromatics' new studio album, Kill for Love, was released March 26, 2012.
The band originally featured a trademark sound indebted to punk and lo-fi that was described as "noisy" and "chaotic".[1] After numerous lineup changes, which left guitarist Adam Miller as the sole original member, the band signed to the Italians Do It Better record label.

Danke, habe ich gar nicht mitgekriegt, dass da was neues unterwegs ist! Fand "Night Drive" schon sehr geil und nach dem ersten Reinhören ist das neue Ding auch absolut grandios.
Aber krass, wie lang das ist. Finde 4-fach Vinyl immer ein bisschen umständlich. Scheint aber ein Pflichtkauf zu sein..

That’s a good point. So what now for Chromatics?

Not that anybody wants to hear this, but we’re actually recording the next record. I’m really close to mixing and achieving the final editing on Dear Tommy. I don’t want to put any dates out there, but it’s sooner rather than later. It’s a beautiful album. It does exist. It’s the same tracklisting, all the same lyrics.

Ruth hat – siehe Kommentare – für den 02. November eine 25-minütige EP angekündigt. Die Dear Tommy LP, für die mit "Dear Tommy", "Fresh Blood", "Black Walls", "Blue Girl", "Shadow" und "Endless Sleep" bereits sechs Songs feststehen, erscheint also doch erst 2019. Wenn da auch nur zwei bis drei Songs, die ich mir mehr als einmal anhöre werde, drauf sind, bin ich schon zufrieden – und das will nun wirklich etwas heißen.
