It's Dilla Month! Yesterday, we got a present in the form of a previously unreleased joint "Yes Yes" from Slum Village, produced by Dilla Dawg. Today, the good dudes from Cookin' Soul provide us with their tribute to Dilla in the form of "Best Times of My Life." All I have to say is, if Dilla were around, he'd most definitely approve of this. God damn those Spaniards sure can chop some shit up! Off the upcoming instrumental album, Cookies. We love and miss you Dilla!

Das geht ja schon in die Distortion/Trip Hop/IDM Ecke. Hm. Let me think.

Monolake klingt ja mehr so wie Aphex Twin bzw. Rephlex Rec. Funkstörung ist ganz cool, spricht meinen Fimmel für Breakcore an.
Aber ich suche schon eher so dürstere Beats mit viel distortion, noisigen Tönen und blechernen Drums. Industrial-Hop oder wie man das bezeichnen will (Bin auch auf den Begriff "Illbient" gestoßen, passt ganz gut). Dazu nicken die Rinder im Ketaminrausch kurz vor der Schlachtung
