"Clouds" is a 27 track instrumental project from Detroit producer Apollo Brown. While most have come to know Apollo's production for its smash mouth, head nodding, grime, "Clouds" reveals another aspect of his production ability. This complex, mello instrumental album is ideal on a winter afternoon, or as a nightcap to a day. Each track is hypnotic and imaginitive. "Clouds" is a 52 minute instrumental ride, the perfect backdrop for reflection.
For some, "clouds" come to mind when pondering over the definition of being lost in thought. Formed in different sizes, shapes, and colors; set high in the sky or hanging low at arms reach, they seem to stir up a type of calm that we all need at times. This album is a collection of instrumentals put together to do just that. Whether to meditate on a certain mood within, or to accompany heavy reflection, "Clouds" puts forth music to provoke thought.

Jep, nur instrumental. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt. Nur schaut es derzeit so aus, als würde das gute Stück nicht auf schwarzes Plastik gepresst werden.

Jop, normalerweise kauf ich da nur einzelne Tracks, aber hab's da heute morgen spontan gesehen und einfach mal geladen, wollte nicht noch ewig drauf warten und das hat mich so angelacht!
So konnte ich's den ganzen Tag schon auf'm IPod hören und es is' wirklich richtig, richtig gut! Eine Beat-Perle jagt die nächste! Der Mann hat sich echt wieder selbst übertroffen!
Klar, 'n Haufen bekannte Samples, aber er macht echt was besonderes draus!
Find's beattechnisch sogar besser als die The Left-Scheibe!
Hat einfach 'n ganz speziellen Vibe!

Der Anfang erinert mich voll an den Track

"Black Pearls" hat mich auch sofort komplett umgehauen! Unfassbares Brett!
Aber es sind einfach zu viele richtig, richtig gute Instrumentals drauf!
Ich stelle mir grad mal so vor, Elzhi würde ein Album nur auf Apollo Brown-Beats machen...

Das Wort "traumhaft" trifft's ganz gut, ja! So viel Soul in den Beats...

Bin grade auf "Imagination" hängen geblieben. Klar, altbekanntes Sample, aber das Teil geht runter wie Öl!
