Verdammt gutes Album. Vielfältiges Soundbild, mit Hip Hop, Soul, Jazz und teilweise sogar Electroeinflüssen, aber trotzdem rund und vor allem ziemlich smooth. Anderson.Paak dazu nicht so ein glattgebügelter Sänger, wie man es heutzutage gewohnt ist, sondern mit einer Menge Persönlichkeit, Ecken und Kanten. Am Besten gefallen mir "The City", "Might Be" (Sample ), "Already", "Get Em Up", "Paint" (mein absolutes Highlight!), "Drugs", "Right There" und "Off The Ground". Steckt auf jeden Fall viel Potential in dem, hoffentlich kann er das auch nutzen.
Btw.: Jedem, dem das Album hier gefällt kann ich auch die "Anderson.Paak EP" von den Blended Babies ans Herz legen, ebenfalls sehr smooth.

habs mir jetz auch mal bestellt, kenne mittlerweile einige tracks und die feier ich. seine stimme hat schon was.

starkes album finde echt alles gut. "get em up" is der sound, den kid cudi eig. machen sollte, und auf "luh you" gibt paak seine beste jay kay-imitation zum besten.
manche tracks können allemal als trost dafür dienen, dass es so schnell kein frank ocean-album zu geben scheint.
