Beastie Boys sind eine verdammt gute Gruppe! nur durchgehend gute Alben und experiementierfreudig dazu! Lustig in diesem zusammenhang zu erwähnen, dass heute viele behaupten Eminem sei der erste erfolgreiche weisse Rapper gewesen.

Es wird ein sehr "anderes" Album. Man kann keine Alben von den Jungs vergleichen, vor allem nicht "To the 5 Boroughs" mit den davorigen. "Hello Nasty" war zwar auch mit einigen puren HipHop- Stücken, die ins elektrische abgedrifftet sind, bestückt, aber auch Samba, Acid Jazz usw waren vertreten. Auf "To the 5 Boroughs" findet man nur pure HipHop- Stücke.

Das nächste Album geht bestimmt in eine sehr punkige Richtung, so wie "Check ya Head" oder "Ill Comunication". Es wird sehr viel Live eingespielt und wird bestimmt wieder Rap- Musik neu formen. Da bin ich mir sehr sicher, denn die Jungs sind viel zu verrückt um noch ein pures Rap- Album nachzuschmeißen.

beastie boys sind die einzigst wahre crossover band..

ob hardcore gemoshe oder dopesounds... es gibt keine band die soviele stile spielen kann ohne dabei peinlich rüberzukomen.

wenn ich ehrlich bin hab ich die beasties seid ill comunication nich mehr so verfolgt.. aber keine band hat soviel meilensteine und style produziert wie die beastie boys zusammen mit money mark...
