intro und do it sind echt ganz nice.

der beat vom intro hätte auch für meek mill maßgeschneidert sein können.

Album fällt irgendwann dann doch recht ordentlich ab... Ist auch viel zu lang. Aber allein für die ersten 5 Tracks :thumbsup:
 
Album fängt sehr gut an, fällt dann aber in absurde Tiefen teilweise. Aber die guten Songs sind trotzdem ziemlich spaßig.
 
Das ist doch wieder nichts... Album fängt ganz ok an mit den ersten 3-4 Songs (ohne dass die jetzt überragend wären), dann kommt im Mittelteil viel ziemlich belastendes Zeug, "Harden" sticht da für mich noch positiv raus. Zum Ende hin gefällt mir dann noch "Darkside" ganz gut. Am besten find ich den Schluss von "Piano Trap" nach dem Beatswitch.

Insgesamt schon deutlich schlechter als "Carter V" und das war für mich auch nicht mehr als guter Durchschnitt. Die heutigen Mannie Fresh-Produktionen sind leider auch nicht mehr, was sie mal waren. :(
 
C5 fand ich ja schon in ordnung für ein comebackalbum aber hier gefällt mir deutlich weniger als die hälfte
"mahogany", "not me", "harden", "ball hard", "bastard" (bester track), "get outta my head", "piano trap" und "darkside" stechen heraus doch die mehrheit is entweder 0815 (zb "i do it", "i don't sleep") oder unerträglich (zb "line em up", "wayne's world")
viele beats sind einfach langweilig oder scheiße (again: "line em up" :confused:) und seine reimketten mit autotune vocals driften immer wieder ins anstrengende ab
hier und da schon nette lines dabei aber zum großen teil rappt er einfach i-was und hat nur wenige coole konzepte wie bei "bastard"

Ab 2010 hat der irgendwie angefangen sehr anstrengend und langsam zu Rappen

C5 ist schon besser, vor allem leidet "Funeral" deutlich mehr unter der Länge als C5.
Da ich bisher aber mit fast allem von Weezy etwas anfangen konnte, finden sich hier auch genug Tracks die mir richtig gut gefallen.
"Dreams" (richtig stark :thumbsup:), "Clap For Em" mit 90s-Cash-Money-Vibe, "Mahogany", "Not Me", "Know You Know", "Wild Dogs", "Harden", "I Don't Sleep", "Piano Trap" und "Darkside" würde ich bisher hervorheben.

"drag rap" wurde doch schon totgesamplet und weezy hat man schon oft genug darauf gehört

Viele coole Tracks bei, man kann sich schon ein gutes Ding aus all den Tracks basteln.
 
find die bonus tracks bis auf "russian roulette" (anna kurnikowa mention :thumbsup:) furchtbar
is einfach kein gutes album wenn man sich die paar perlen aus dem ganzen mess rausfischen muss
immer noch unbegreiflich wie der auf diesen beat von "line em up" rappen konnte :emoji_joy_cat: ich glaub da wollte murda beatz nur trollen und am ende nimmt den beat auch noch jemand
