Vielleicht ist das auch deshalb so einprägsam, weil er da mal ein paar mehr sozialkritische Lines fallen lässt als im Durchschnitt seiner Tracks. Außerdem war es einfach nur angemessen, für seinen vermeintlichen Letztling Parliament Funkadelic zu featuren.

Hab mir heute nochmal so ein Radio-Interview mit ihm angehört, wo er sagt, dass der Song nicht für's Album gedacht war und es deshalb diese Konversation vorm Track wirklich so gegeben haben soll. Angeblich liegt wahrscheinlich noch irgendwo in Kanyes Speicher die Urversion mit dem ungeclearten Sample, für dessen Ersatz dieser (trotzdem freshe) Gitarrenbeat herhalten musste.

Spoiler: Anmerkung

Un Kasa gehört mit diesem Track zum erlesenen Kreis der Dipset-Member, die auf einen Kanye West-Beat (einziger des Albums) rappen durften. Ich glaube, dass nicht mal Juelz Santana je auf einen gerappt hat.

Bin nicht so der Freund vom Recyclen von Beats wie dem zweiten, aber der 20 Jahre alte Nottz-Beat kommt schon geil und generell finde ich das eine gute Art, ein Album zu eröffnen.
