Wahrscheinlich mein Lieblingslabel zurzeit. Das Line-Up und die regelmäßig releasten Projekte sind einfach nicht zu schlagen. Gibt meines Wissens nach sowieso kein Label, das aktuell so viele hochkarätige Leute unter Vertrag hat.

Feier das Label auch am meisten zur Zeit, fast alles hammer was da kommt.
 
Bin großer Fan von Oddisee (siehe mein Avatar) und auch seiner Crew Diamond District. Meine Wertschätzung für Apollo Brown dürfte dem ein oder anderen hier wahrscheinlich auch schon aufgefallen sein, schließlich habe ich den Apollo Brown-Thread in diesem Forum eröffnet und habe mich auch in den Alben-Threads reichlich beteiligt. Allerdings muss ich auch sagen, dass ich momentan von den Apollo-Beats ein bißchen übersättigt bin und die neueren Releases nicht mehr so große Jubelstürme bei mir ausgelöst haben. Oddisee und Apollo sind für mich jedenfalls die 2 herausragenden Künstler auf dem Label, die restlichen Künstler finde ich mittelmäßig bis gut. Mein Mail-Fach wird von dem Label auf jeden Fall reichlich gefüllt und oft genug sind richtig gute Sachen dabei.
 
Ja Tangible Dream issn sehr starkes Album, hör ich ziemlich oft in letzter Zeit.
Auch Ugly Heroes war ein bockstarkes Album für mich, Apollo hats schon drauf

Es kommen einfach ständig dope Sachen von der MMG, lohnt sich eigentlich immer in die Releases reinzuhören. Oddisee und Apollo sind natürlich die Aushängeschilder, aber es gibt auch neben den beiden enorm viel Qualität (L'Orange, Rapper Big Pooh, Quelle Chris, Uptown XO, Has-Lo etc...)

Remix-Album von Castle's "Gasface"-Projekt, das 2013 kam. Komplett von Has-Lo produziert und auch mit neuen Texten von Castle.
 
es gibt ja sooo unendlich viel zeug, und ich kenn vom label bisher gerade mal ugly heroes und tangible dream, gibts vllt. i ne info mit dem besten releases oder auch persönliche empfehlungen ect.?
 
Offiziell gibts da natürlich eher nichts Passendes, aber ich kann dir in erster Linie die Discogs-Liste der MMG-Releases empfehlen. Da dürften so gut wie alle Alben drin sein, die bisher veröffentlicht wurden. Da kannste dich ja mal durcharbeiten:

Die sollte man meiner Meinung nach auf jeden Fall besitzen, wenn man mit dem Label was anfangen kann.
 
Bis auf yU, Has-Lo und L'Orange zieht da alles recht belanglos an mir vorbei.
10000 Euronen, dass woods den besten MMG verse auf dem neuen L'O Album bringt.
Verstehe auch das OME signing nicht so ganz. Ein Has-Lo prod Album wäre groß. "Dark Comedy" sollte weiterhin Top 10 '14 Material sein.

Two weeks from today Detroit producer Apollo Brown will be releasing his newest instrumental soundtrack Thirty Eight. The sound falls somewhere between the end of 70s heroin and the beginning of 80s crack, with all the cigarette burns and scratches intact. The technicolor journey begins today with a three track collection of instrumentals from the project that Apollo has titled Cigarette Burns EP.

To go along with the OST, Apollo has created three advance film posters in addition to the cover photo taken by legendary photographer Jeremy Deputat.
