10. The Geto Boys - "My Mind's Playing Tricks On Me"
The Houston rap crew - fronted by the unforgettable Bushwick Bill - was plenty rude. But not rude enough to stop this mayhem-dotted classic from going to No. 23 in 1991.
9. Digital Underground - "Humpty Dance"
Before Dr. Dre stole their collection of P-Funk records, this Oakland posse were the undisputed masters of the West Coast party sound, courtesy of this 1990 smash and a bunch of false noses.
8. Big Punisher - "Still Not a Player"
The Puerto Rican rapper's road to success - kick-started with this 1998 classic - was hindered by only one thing: His appetite. Big Pun's tragic death in 2000 means he's still not a two-hit wonder.
7. Tag Team - "Whoomp, There It Is"
Their 1993 hit enlivened many a half-time show and made this Atlanta duo instant stars. The follow-ups "Addams Family (Whoomp)" and "Bulls There It Is" failed to catch on in the least.
6. Kris Kross - "Jump"
In the summer of 1991, thirteen-year olds Chris "Mack Daddy" Kelly and Chris "Daddy Mack" Smith jumped all over MTV with their pants on backwards. Then they grew up.
5. Biz Markie - "Just a Friend"
Once heard, never forgotten, Markie's off-key lovelorn rhymes from 1990 have since been given new life in Mario's recent hit of the same name.
4. Young MC - "Bust a Move"
After scoring a No. 7 hit in 1989, this laidback Queens MC appeared in advertisements for Taco Bell saying he was going to run for the border. He hasn't been heard from since.
3. Vanilla Ice - "Ice, Ice Baby"
