Angeblich hat Akademiks einige Insiderinfos von 40 erhalten, woraufhin Drake 40 angekackt haben soll weil er geplaudert hat. Wirkt etwas komisch, da man bei 40 und Drake ja denkt sie seien best buddies, aber einige lustige Stories sind doch dabei, vielleicht ist auch ein Stückchen was dran:

DJ Akademics says 40 Shebib could possibly be lying (any information below is unproven)

40 Shebib says Meek Mill wanted Quintin Miller to write for him

Drake and Quintin Miller collaborated and would share ideas which is why the reference tracks exist

The Migos could have joined OVO

He’s going to do a future podcast with 40 Shebib

You have to pay Birdman $200,000 to get Drake on your song in any form

Drake has a certain amount of songs a year he can do without someone having to pay 200k, but he has to sign them to OVO first and drop it on his label or sign a deal with them

13. Everyone knows the infamous Meek Mill tweet, “Don’t compare me to drake blah blah”. But this is the story behind it according to 40 Shebib:

Meek and Nicki went to the mall and shut it down to buy some stuff. The total of their items was like $38,000 and Meek was going to pay but he was short a couple thousands, so he asked Nicki to pay and said he would pay her back later. Nicki snapped and said, “Drake wouldn’t do this”, so she separated her stuff, paid for it, left and rode home leaving Meek by himself. That’s why Meek tweeted, “don’t compare me to Drake…”, because Nicki compared them both. And that’s how the beef started.

14. Meek knew about Quentin Miller already but the Nicki situation and Drake’s subliminal diss on R.I.C.O are what triggered him.

23. The reason 40 contacted Akademiks in the first place was because Akademiks made a post joking about the “OVO concentration camp”, and 40 dm'ed him to stop twisting peoples views and lying since the public believes everything. Then he called Akademiks to call and chat.

24. Drake wrote all of '5AM in Toronto'.

25. 40 says he would’ve signed Tory Lanez if he came to them with a record like “Say It”, but not anymore because he dissed them.

26. 40 says lots of people contribute to the same ideas for the songs Drake makes but its not like Drake just pops in and takes the song. Basically, Drake takes ideas and form them into one song.

27. 40 says PARTYNEXTDOOR does his own shit sometimes and they don’t force him to do anything.
