Foremost, he says he just wrapped up Timberlake's upcoming (and as yet officially unannounced) album, which will receive a massive boost when the star plays the Super Bowl halftime show in February. "The music we just made?" Timbaland says, shaking his head. "It's gonna put him on another plateau."

When Timberlake steps onstage at the Super Bowl in Minneapolis in February, he will likely perform music from his first album in four years, which, sources say, is due out early in 2018. Though Timberlake is pushing 40, he proved he's still a chart-topping force with 2016's Number One "Can't Stop the Feeling!" Someone who's heard the new album says it "pushes boundaries in ways you don't expect. It's gonna have a lot of hits" and includes a collaboration with country star Chris Stapleton. Another source confirms that Timberlake is also planning an arena tour. His last, 20/20 Experienceworld tour, earned $230 million. "It's going to be humongous," says one promoter.

According to RCA Records, “Filthy” was co-written and co-produced by Timberlake, Timbaland and Danja. James Fauntleroy and Larrance Dopson of musical collective 1500 or Nothin’ are also credited as writers.

Justin Timberlake has revealed some details about his new album Man of the Woods, first announced yesterday and set for release on February 2. Collaborators on the new album include Timberlake’s longtime creative partners the Neptunes and Timbaland, country artist Chris Stapleton and Alicia Keys. It was Timberlake’s duet with Stapleton at the 2015 Country Music Awards that set off speculation that the former NSYNC star’s next studio project would pull more heavily from country influences, a prediction that appears to be coming partly true with the Americana-inspired launch of Man of the Woods. According to a press release, Timberlake’s “new material explores storytelling inspired by his son, his wife, and his personal journey from Memphis to where he is today.”

"Breeze off the Pond" z.B. recht traditioneller JT-Song, wie ich ihn gern höre. "Montana" auch geil. Hätte im Vorfeld schlimmeres erwartet.
