splatter steht für blutige effekte und ist völlig unabhängig davon, worum es bei dem film geht.
slasher sind ein subgenre des horrorfilms, entstanden in den späten 70ern, anknüpfend an italienische gialli-filme.
blaupase ist ein (häufig maskierter) killer, der eine gruppe (meist jugendliche) einen nach dem anderen (meist blutig inszeniert, teilweise aber auch ohne splatterszenen), va mit hieb- und stichwaffen tötet bis es am ende zum duell zwischen killer und final girl (manchmal auch samt ihrem liebhaber) kommt.
nicht selten sind auch who dunnit-elemente vorhanden.
nachdem das genre ende der 80er totgelaufen war, erlebte es mitte der 90er eine zweite welle durch den erfolg von scream.

Und gibt es einen Termin, wann diese Derry Serie rauskommt?

mir hat er gefallen. Seinen zweck auf jeden Fall erfüllt.

Derry Serie? Meinst du Castle Rock? Ist noch in Arbeit.
The only surprising thing about Castle Rock is that it's taken this long for someone to actually make it happen. JJ Abrams' Bad Robot will team with Warner Bros. TV to produce Castle Rock for Hulu. King fans certainly recognize Castle Rock as the setting for a number of King's most famous stories.


Sam Shaw and Dusty Thomason, of WGN's criminally short-lived Manhattan, are writing the series. The Abrams/King/Hulu combination has worked well in the recent past with 11/22/63.


Andre Holland (Moonlight) will star, along with Melanie Lynskey (Togetherness), Sissy Spacek (Carrie), Jane Levy (Suburgatory), and Bill Skarsgård, who also plays Pennywise the Clown in the It remake.

Weiß nicht wie die alle Castle Rock stories hinbekommen wollen, ohne das Städtchen wie das offizielle Tor zur Hölle darzustellen :D
 
Vllt. viele Kurzgeschichten/Plots, die alle gemeinsam haben, dass sie halt dort spielen.
Room 104 ähnlich. Sowas könnte ich mir vorstellen.
 
Denke das könnte funktionieren. Wo kommt auf einmal der King Hype her, frag ich mich irgendwie.
