Ja, das liest man oft. Ich kann ihr allerdings auch so viel eigenen Stimmcharakter attestieren, dass ich sie mittlerweile überall heraushören würde. Ihr Debütalbum erscheint übrigens nächste Woche. Die bisherigen Auskopplungen findest du auf Soundcloud. Mein Favorit ist der Titelsong, auf dessen Chorus mich ihre Art zu phrasieren an den jungen Michael Jackson erinnert. Vielleicht erstelle ich ihr in den nächsten Tagen einen eigenen Thread.

With fans including Prince and Common, the Wu-Tang producer is the latest in a long-line of admirers of Snoh, who is signed to No I.D aka the Godfather of Chicago Hip Hop. "I met RZA over a year ago at Nile Rodgers Grammy party, I have so much respect for him as a producer and artist and I've always loved his vibe as a person", says the 5’10 Swedish/ Persian singer with the most swoonsome voice ever. "We spoke about working and, magically one year after, it happened in the most unexpected way! This song represents exactly what I'm going through at this very moment in my life."

Die hat echt eine beeindruckende Stimme! Ich habe mich seit gestern näher mit ihrem Schaffen beschäftigt. Auf jeden Fall eine sehr interessante Künstlerin! "In Your River" lief heute bei mir in der Dauerschleife! Es fühlt sich einfach gut an, dass ein Song diesen Amy Winehouse Flavor perfekt umsetzt. Danke für das Aufmerksammachen dieser Künstlerin!

On their 2015 debut The Universe Smiles Upon You, Khruangbin drew inspiration from ’60s and ’70s Thai soul and psych records, but on their upcoming sophomore LP Con Todo El Mondo, the Texas trio expand their smiling universe to include sounds drawn from Spain and the Middle East. Lead single “Maria También” is a deeply satisfying Eastern-influenced groove, and its accompany video features archival footage of Iranian women who were exiled or silenced following the revolution of 1979.
