10 years after Blu and Exile released their magnum opus Below the Heavens, the California duo have reunited to release 14 tracks from the original 2007 sessions. In the Beginning: Before the Heavens contains previously heard songs and unreleased gems – the best of the best chosen from over 40 songs in the vault. Their third collaboration follows 2012’s Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them, and is slated for an October release.

Großartig, ich werde mich heute auf meinem Jansport vor Freude in den Schlaf weinen und davor noch alle Tapes von Lauchdiggi abhören.

Der verhält sich zu Q-Tip wie Conway zu Ghostface.

Zum Glück hält der Ninja Kendrick Hip-Hop 2017+ down.
 
wenn das alles so klingt wie der track da oben, wird es eher überflüssig. zum 1000. mal ein beat von blu, wo die snare leicht neben dem takt sitzt und es so ein schiefes jahrmarktorgel-sample zu hören gibt.

ich mag die beiden alben, die die beiden gemacht haben, aber klischeehafter könnte der track echt nich sein.

vllt. bin ich aber grade auch nur zu voreingenommen, weil ich vor kurzem wieder gemerkt hab, was für hänger genau diese art rapmusik mit religiösem eifer abfeiern.

Könnte gut werden. Das letzte Album von den beiden war nicht meins, aber "Below the Heavens" war klasse
 
wie kann man Give Me My Flowers While I Can Smell Them nicht gut finden?
 
Würde ich mir holen, hätten wir 2007 und es wär ein for free Release.

Was soll das? Leftovers anbieten und dann auch noch mit "the best of the best" anpreisen.
