Leslie Edward Pridgen (born on March 24, 1977), better known by his stage name Freeway, is an American rapper. Best known for his tenure on Roc-A-Fella Records and his affiliation with Jay-Z and Beanie Sigel, he is recognized by his high-pitched delivery (akin to that of Ghostface Killah) and for the long beard he keeps due to his Muslim faith. His moniker is derived from the name of the infamous drug traf****er "Freeway" Ricky Ross. He was a member of the rap group Ice City, is a member of the rap group State Property[3] and recently signed to Cash Money Records but only lasted one year in a half with the label[4][5]. The only record label Freeway's with now is Rhymesayers Entertainment.

Sehr talentierter Rapper, der leider nie so erfolgreich war, wie er es verdient hätte, eine der Stimmen im Rap mit dem höchsten Wiedererkennungswert und flowen und Texte schreiben kann der Junge auch.

Geheimtipp: Mal bei Datpiff nach "Month Of Madness" gucken, unfassbar gute Sachen dabei und das 4 free ;)

This man Statik’s work ethic is second to none. In 2009, he and Saigon brought us All In A Day’s Work. A week ago, he and Termanology gave us The Evening News. Now Statik and Free revealed to XXL that they will be putting together a project next week.

das waren doch keine offiziellen dinger oder? dann könnte man auch freelapse dazu zählen?!

philadelphia freeway, free at last und stimulus package v.a. sind saugute alben, letzteres für mich avancierte zu einem persönlichen classic.

kann man sich nur anschließen... stimulus package war rundum ein perfektes album.
die ep mit statik selektah kann auch nur gut werden.
