eigentlich ist er drake... und nur mal so ihr ride or die drake fans checkt wohl nicht was ein reference track ist. quentin hat den nur als beispiel eingerapt und drake soll es so nach repen.

Ghostwriter wär er nur wenn er im Hintergrund die Texte schreibt aber nicht in den Credits aufgeführt wird, wurde er aber schon öfter.
Co-Writer ist ein ganz normaler Beruf, bei Lose Yourself sind auch Jeff Bass und Luis Resto neben Em als Writer angegeben.
Glaube Meek gehts eher darum das Drake als Genie dargestellt wird während andere die Arbeit machen und viele plappern das Ghostwriter Zeug einfach nach weil sie sich wichtig machen wollen.

Und woher weißt du das Miller den Reference track nicht eingerappt hat weil er Drake zeigen wollte wie es sich am Ende anhört ?
Wie kannst du raushören wer von den beiden am schreiben beteiligt war ?
Irgendwer bekommt den Beat, beide schreiben einen Track gemeinsam, Miller rappt ihn kurz ein um zu sehen ob alles passt, dann am Ende werden noch paar Wörter geändert und fertig.

I’ll tell u what tho, no matter what anyone says, that ghostwriter / co writer controversy definitely keeps Drake out all goat conversations. It doesn’t mean that Drake isnt a great artist, it just means that he’s more J.Lo than Jay-Z

Gerüchteküche hosted by DJ Young Totti: Scheinbar war DJ Drama der Auslöser, er hatte die reference tracks weil er Host beim damals noch kostenlosen Mixtape IYRTITL sein sollte, was dann aber relativ kurzfristig doch als Album releast wurde. Hat sie dann (teilweise) und über die Tage an Meek & Co. rausgerückt. Jetzt ist er sauer weil in Gegenwind gespuckt.

is dochn riesen unterschied, ob man zusammen sitzt und beim schreiben kollaboriert oder ob man sich die fertigen parts vorrappen lässt um sie dann nachzumachen.

und in usa wird ernsthaft darüber debattiert ob drake (!) der greatest ever ist!? :D :D
