der big time-thread über digital funk, boogie, 80s r&b, gerne auch freestyle, italo, electro-funk!
was ist gemeint? keyboards 'n drummachines? alles ab 1980? für mich ist es vielseitig, das spektrum reicht von klassikern wie zapp und p-funk spin-offs zu keyboardlastigem early-prince-stuff, über electro-funk und b-boy-mucke wie newcleus und egyptian lover hin zu midnight star, sos band, shalamar, teena marie, nu shooz, cameo und straight in die zukunft zu dam-funk und xl middleton. aber auch sasac und tuurqoise summers mit eher chilligem stuff würde ich dazu zählen. the list goes on.
egal, haut hier alles über alle aktuellen acts wie dam-funk, xl middleton, eddy funkster usw. rein. aber auch die alten cats wie steve arrington / slave, midnight star, egyptian lover, the time, prince (stellenweise), 80s p-funk! die übergänge sind eh fliessend, viele acts wie cameo, rick james oder teena marie haben ihren sound den 80ern angepasst. bin gespannt auf neue jams!

hab bestimmt ne menge leute vergessen, pusht den shit!
leider gibt es für diese musik im moment wenig liebe in den clubs, deutschland wie immer an unfunkyness nicht zu überbieten. wer was weiss, hit it!
und noch was - es gibt einen funkthread. aber da ist mir dieser raregroove/disco/james brown-funk zu dominant.
