Fiddy hat sich ernsthaft aufgeregt als er gesehen hatte das James Bond's "Casino Royale" mit einem Poster von Daniel Craig mit Waffe beworben wird. Da er ja bei seinem Movie "Get Rich or Die Trying" auch ein ähnliches Motiv gewählt hatte, und dafür nur Rüge kassiert hat, kann er die Welt, oder besser Hollywood nicht ganz verstehen.
Fiddy findet Waffe ist Waffe und die Hollywood Polizei soll sich doch mal ein faires und für alle gültiges "Gesetz" ausdenken.
Nebst dem berichtet der G-Unit Boss von seinem neuen Album, welches jetzt in der Mache ist. Alles wird anders, alles wird (alt) neu! Mann solle sich auf etwas gefasst machen, denn Fiddy geht eher in Richtung Soul Samples und arbeitet gemäss seinen Angaben mit ganz anderen Produzenten als bis anhin.
Grund: er hat sich in letzter Zeit die alten Motown Scheiben angehört wie z.B. Smokey Robinson, und dies gefalle im zur Zeit am besten.
"Before I Self Destruct" wird das neue Teil heissen und soll nächsten Frühling in die Regale kommen!
Mal gucken ob Premo, 9th Wonder, Pete Rock, Marley Marl, Finesse und evtl noch Madlib auf Fiddy's Wunschliste stehen. Nice wär's auf jeden !

Soul lastigre Beats hört sich auf jeden Fall gut an und viel schlechter als das letze Album kann es auch nicht werden, fand sein letztes Album nämlich bis auf ein paar Tracks scheiße.

Es wäre wirklich zu geil, wenn das Detox Album 2007 endlich heraus kommen würde. Nachdem es so oft verschoben wurde, kann man solchen Ankündigungen, jedoch nicht unbedingt vertrauen.

HHNLive.com writer Aaron Frank sits down with Alchemist, Stat Quo, Ca$his and Obie Trice to discuss the future of Shady Records. In this incredible feature, Eminem's young gunners touch on Dr. Dre (and why we may never see Detox), what the hell happened with Obie's latest album, Interscope's lack of southern Hip-Hop knowledge, in the case of Stat Quo why his album has been delayed so long and what 2007 and beyond holds for this emerging super crew.
AF: Alright, Ca$his, you're the most recent artist to be signed to Shady Records. You're also one of the only artist's on the label with that west coast flavor. It says on your MySpace something about being from the O.C., but let the people know exactly where you from and how you ended up getting signed?
Ca$his: I'm actually from the Southside of Chicago, so that's really what you hear when you hear me. I'm not from the O.C., but that's where I'm striving to be.
AF: I thought you were from the west coast though?
Ca$his: Oh yeah, I've been out here for a minute working with a lot of different people. So I rep the West Coast on a lot of my records.
AF: So you're already working on your debut album. How is that coming along so far?
Ca$his: It's coming along really good. Everything is going the way we planned it so far. I just recorded a joint with Alchemist that is going to just set the world on fire. Me and Obie are probably going to do something next week. I can't wait to do that. I got a lot of respect for him as an artist, but I'm just working right now.
AF: How many songs you got recorded so far?
Ca$his: I've got over 200 songs recorded so far. I'm probably going to go back and try to do 100 more. And then we're just going to pick it up from there. I'll probably do a mixtape or something before the album comes out.
AF: We'll definitely be looking forward to that. Alchemist, what up? I just reviewed No Days Off not too long ago. That album is crazy. It was more like an underground thing, so are you pleased with how it's doing?
Alchemist: That actually wasn't even an album, but I'm glad that you said that because a lot of people are listening to it like it is. That was just a mixtape, but my official first album was 1st Infantry.
AF: So what do you have going on right now?
Alchemist: Well, a lot of things have happened since that album, so I gotta hit the people with something, because I work everyday. We're in the studio making records all day. Some of the things we record I can just stash away, but some stuff I feel just has to come out now. That's why I do a lot of those mixtapes. And luckily, the last one ended up in stores. I was happy with that, because you start to get worried when you don't see people bootlegging your stuff or anything like that. Some people tell me that I need to promote my sh*t more, but sometimes it's cool when you can take it back to the day and bust a CD out like a pair of kicks or something. My new album is killing No Days Off though. It's going to be called Chemical Warfare.
AF: When do you think we'll see that Chemical Warfare in stores?
Alchemist: I'm just working on the finishing touches right now actually. I'm making sure the whole Shady camp is on there. And I'm rhyming a lot more on this album. You'll probably see it in stores after the first quarter in '07 though.
AF: I saw that you also got a DVD out right now too?
Alchemist: Yeah, we got the Chemistry Files DVD out right now.
AF: What's up with this Alchemist & Evidence project I've been hearing about? Can you tell us anymore about that?
Alchemist: Me and him grew up together and we've done a few songs together. But as far as doing the album, it just really didn't make sense at the time. Plus he wanted to go ahead and do his solo album, so I supported him and he went ahead and did that.
AF: I'm sure we can expect you doing a lot more production with all of the other Shady artists too right?
Alchemist: Oh yeah I'm going to be working with everybody. This is like a family for me now. I can call up Obie, Ca$his, or whoever and let them know I got a hot track for them.

AF: You work a lot with Mobb Deep. I thought Blood Money was a good album. Do you think it was definitely underrated as far as just how the critics responded to it?
Alchemist: Yeah, I agree with that. It wasn't really tried and tested. When it comes down to it, you can't really blame it on anybody though. I think it was just the whole new formula working with Interscope and G-Unit and everything. Mobb Deep are survivors though. If you study their career, they've always had that black cloud over them, but they always come through with a hot album.
AF: Album sales are really down across the board, but the downloads are going up a lot. "Second Round's On Me" was another album that I thought was seriously slept on. Obie, do you think that the censorship on your lead single messed up the promotion for the album?
Obie: Yeah, I think that was a big blow to all of our expectations. With "Snitch," MTV had their campaign against anything that had to do with snitching. They actually still have it going on, but they don't promote anything like that. But they looked at it like if they play that kind of thing, then kids are going to see it and not go to the authorities. That whole situation really slowed the process down though. Weeks and weeks passed by, and the album finally came out and we went and shot another video that I paid for out of my pocket. BET wasn't trying to play any of our stuff either because Eminem missed the Video Awards like three years in a row. So we all had to clean that mess up and have a conference to figure out how we could fix the problem between Shady and BET. They weren't going to play any of our stuff so we went ahead and shot the video for "Cry Now." We actually shot like three videos just to try and make up for everything. At the time though, there wasn't anything out there video wise that was like "Snitch." It was a breath of fresh air.
AF: That's what's up. You've done a lot of work with Alchemist in the past. I assume you all are going back in the studio together pretty soon, right?
Obie: Yeah, we did a lot of those songs a while back, but we try to bang out on the regular. We're trying to drop an Alchemist & Obie Trice mixtape together after The Re-Up comes out actually.
AF: Alright, I wanted to ask if you were about to have another single for this album and if so, what is going to be?
Obie: Like I said, it all depends on our budget and everything. I'll probably end up coming out of pocket and making another video myself, but the thing of it is that I want the label to really be behind me. If I spend $300,000 and shoot another video, I want it to be on the radio and I want the label to push it like that. I need the record to really be pushed on the radio, as opposed to going the underground route like we have done in the past.
AF: Alright, well I know I'm still waiting on that "Statlanta". What's the status of that album?
Stat: If it was up to me, it would've definitely already been out by now. It's really just bad timing though man. Certain circumstances just affected the scheduling. Like Obie said, we're really just trying to regroup now and make sure these types of mistakes don't happen. The Re-Up is coming though and it's really just going to be a platform for the people to hear all of us. It's giving people the chance to hear the different songs from people that the mass majority of the public don't really know about yet. Everyone is going to get to know more about me and I think we've finally got the right formula.
AF: Was there any particular reason it's been pushed back for so long or were you all just trying to get the formula right and make sure everything was tight?
Stat: Well, I'm signed to Em' and Dre. The last artist that they really put out together was 50. The situation just came about where we decided we needed to go approach this situation differently. First of all, I'm from Atlanta and they've never really had a southern artist before on Interscope. No disrespect, but their presence just ain't like that in the south. So they're learning a lot through me and trying to get sh*t poppin' the right way. Interscope is based in Cali and New York. Dre is in Cali, Em's in Detroit and the Shady offices are in New York. None of their offices are in the south. A lot of times they don't have the right people promoting the sh*t for people like me. Most of the sh*t that I've been doing is just stuff me and my homeboys do. We're just trying get a good base together down there and get that together before the record comes out though. Another thing is that Dre doesn't just put out records. A lot of times it's a financial thing with this sh*t though. It's about a dollar. When you hear this sh*t on the radio and see these people on TV, it's not a coincidence. People are paying for those radio spots. You literally have to have millions of dollars to dump in to your sh*t, because if you go to BET or MTV with $100,000, they're just going to laugh at you.
AF: So did you end up going back and recording some new material? Everybody down south is still bangin that Road to Statlanta.
Stat: Well, I've been in LA for the last three months. Well Snoop just came out, so I came out here to work with Dre. We just finished up some joints for my album and his album. Dre is about to take some time off though. So now I'm about to work with Alchemist and some other producers. I've got people like LT More sending me beats, so we still might add a couple of songs.
AF: Hey, I gotta ask. Did you just say you recorded some songs for Dre's album? What's up with that Detox?
Stat: I really have no idea. I've recorded some songs that he says he wants to use for his album. He doesn't let anything come out until it's perfect though. He has so many tracks recorded though. Sometimes we'll be talking about The Chronic and he'll start talking about all of the things that he wishes he would've changed about it. This is one of the best albums of all time and he's talking about which songs he would've taken off the album and which songs he would've added. I honestly don't know if that album will ever come out though.
Obie: I hope it does. I'm trying to hear that. You don't think the album will come out?
Stat: I don't even know. Maybe in like 2010. It would be so hard to pick the songs for that.
AF: I'm definitely trying to hear it.
Obie: I think it will come out eventually.
AF: Are you all going to do any shows or touring to promote The Re-Up?
Stat: Yeah, they we're talking about doing a Shady Tour with all of us maybe.
AF: Well I hope that works out and we'll be looking forward to the album.

detox kommt ganz bestimmt 2007 *hust* aber mal ersnthaft: die erwartungen für dieses album sind ja sooo groß, dass es eigentlich nur ne enttäuschung werden kann. außerdem will ich kein album, voll mit diesen komischen piano beats von dr. dre. versteht mich nicht falsch, ich mag diese beats, aber kein ganzes album davon. des sollt mehr so werden wie 2001, nur mit besseren kollabos. aber ich befürchte, dass es ne größere enttäuschung als kingdome come wird.

Wieso sollte G-Unit auch gedropped sein? Die Verkaufszahlen stimmen! Blood Money, das erste G-Unit Album von Mobb Deep war vielleicht kein Hit, gelangte aber auf Platz 3 der Billboard Top 200 und Platz 1 der R&B/Hiphop Album Charts. Auch die G-Unit Clothings verkaufen sich bombig. Lloyd Banks verkaufte in der ersten Woche 143.000 Kopien von Rotten Apple. Ein guter Start im Vergleich zu insgesamt 433.00 verkauften Kopien seines Debüts Hunger For More. Das Album stieg auf die gleichen Chartspositionen wie Mobb Deep ein und Banks hatte nach 4 Wochen schon 234.000 Kopien verkauft. 2007 wird es wohl nicht anders aussehen. Young Buck steht mit seinem Album in den Startlöchern und Fitty ließ verheissen, dass 90% seines kommenden Albums Before I Self Destruct auch schon fertig seien. Auf 3 alle zusammen: G-G-G-G-G-G-Unit!

Schon scheisse, aber einige DJ's nehmen auch bewusst an Beefs Teil, ich denke da nur an Big Mike oder Kay Slay. Von daher sollten sie nicht so ne Welle machen jetzt.
Allerdings muss man auch sagen, dass Buck und die G-Unit endlich mal runterkommen müssen.
Sie können es scheinbar nicht sehen, dass Game so erfolgreich ist, ohne sie, die behaupten ihn groß gemacht zu haben.
Das von Buck geschilderte Missverständnis klingt außerdem irgendwie zurechtgelegt.

The album is set to be co-produced by Scott Storch who has announced that Snoop Dogg, Lloyd Banks, and Bishop Lamont have also recorded vocals. Other people working on the album "Detox" consist of Mike Elizondo and Dawayn Parker.

Sind zwar alles gute Songs, aber längst nicht auf dem Niveau eines Kool G Raps. Ich mag jeden dieser Songs hören (außer Fack), aber sie sind jetzt nur vom Lyrischen her gesehen auf keinen Fall zu vergleichen mit 90% der Songs von G Rap. Das sind die Songs in denen Eminem über Ärsche, f*cken, Titten und Wichse rappt, was Kool G Rap, gar nicht bzw. selten macht bzw. gemacht hat.

A few years ago, Rotem was your average Joe, sitting at home in his boxer shorts wondering if anybody would actually pay for his tracks one day. Now Rotem has everyone from the Game to Rick Ross to JoJo shelling out top dollar for his beats. He's working with two artists a day, with Britney Spears and 50 Cent being the biggest names on his roster.
"Within a 24-hour time period I was in with 50, then Britney," Rotem said. "Whoever I'm in the studio with, I try to bring the best out of them and let them bring the best out of me. I just try to make the best possible song."
Although he's very secretive when it comes to Spears (see "Britney's New Music Is 'The Next Level,' Producer Says") — including those recently leaked tabloid photos that allegedly captured the two locking lips — he opens up just a little bit about 50's music. Just as 50 told MTV News a few weeks ago, he says the leader of the G-Unit is indeed looking to soul music for inspiration.
"I just sat down with him and we went through tracks," Rotem said. "He's definitely into soulful stuff. He's at a level where he doesn't have to put an album out for money or anything — he's in it for the love of hip-hop. For the next album, he's trying to bring a very powerful new sound. He's an innovator. He puts out a sound and people will copy it. He wants to set a trend. At this point I can't give any more details, but it's definitely going to be a remarkable project."
This year alone, Rotem has worked with Rihanna ("S.O.S."), Rick Ross ("Push It") and the Game ("The Doctor's Advocate," "California Vacation"). His latest projects include new tracks by Jennifer Lopez, JoJo, Mya, Natasha Bedingfield, Ashley Tisdale and Jesse McCartney.
Oh yeah, he's also worked with Dr. Dre on the Detox album (see "Meet Super-Producer J.R. Rotem: The Man Game Calls 'The White Dr. Dre' ").
"He's gotten a few tracks from me for it, and I've heard vocals on some of my tracks," Rotem said. "But with Dr. Dre, he might record 100 tracks and choose his favorite 15 or something. I don't want to jump the gun and say I'm going to be on the album."
Rotem also just inked a deal with Epic Records for his new imprint, Beluga Heights.
"We sat down with everybody," the producer said of the courting process for his label. "I learned that when you get into business with somebody on an exclusive level, you need to really connect with the point people. In this situation, there was no contest as to who we connected to the most. It just felt right to go with them."
First on his roster is 16-year-old Miami rapper Sean Kingston.
"He's incredible," J.R. boasted of his protégé. "I'm giving him his own sound, his own identity. When I work with established people, there's already precedents to their sound, so I have to step it up some and give the J.R. twist to it. With Sean, I'm the one who's actually establishing his sound."

Ain’t shit, I’m just running around.
When exactly is Cuban Linx II dropping?
Cubin Linx II is coming out in ’07 for summertime action. We don’t really want to rush the album and drop a lot of shit in ’06. We just want to come fresh this year, for the new year. But the summertime action, we’re going to burn it up around June or July.
You just celebrated your ten year anniversary of the Cuban Linx album. How did that feel?
I’m just about trying to make good music and basically give *****s another collector’s edition of the first Cuban Linx album. I’m cooling. I’m just a soldier. I’m just trying to get ready for the hype of it. I just want to make sure that *****s are aware of what is going on with me and let all my fans know that I’m working real hard and that I’m guaranteeing *****s fire.
Are you going to do a limited edition run on purple cassette tape?
You know I want to do that, but I don’t even know if purple cassettes are still on the market like that. From what I’m hearing, all these major distributors don’t really **** with the purple cassettes no more. I’m fighting hard for that though, but I’m definitely trying to get the CD purple though. They are going to see what they can do for us, but we got to have some type of purple in there. That’s the statement of royalty right there. That is letting *****s know my top is purple and they back on the block again. If we can make it, you know I’m down for it.
How is Cuban Linx II different than the original?
It’s just me putting it in and letting *****s know that I know how important the first one was to the hip-hop community and to the whole game itself. I don’t try to compete with the first one, I just more or less try to really step it up to a level where I’m complementing the first one with the second one now. You are not going to get the typical shit that you hear on *****s’ CD’s. I got an all-star team of *****s. I got RZA. He feels like he’s got something to prove on the production level. I got Dre right there. Dre is going to make sure that he reps, because he’s looking at RZA and they’re looking at each other. I got brothers like J-Dilla, God bless his soul. He just came with some crazy shit that you listen to sand say, “Yo, this is mean right here.”
I really feel that this is a classic album and I’m hyped about it like a fan myself because there is just so much good shit going there. I got a lot of support from other producers too, basically who love me for what I do and they looking at me like, Yo, you are the last man standing. New York is really considered to be washed up to a lot of *****s. They know that there are only a few *****s that *****s are really looking at. Everybody else is just really coming out to support me, I got an all star cast on this album as far as production is concerned, so I don’t see us losing on no level with that.
How are your collabos looking for the album?
I didn’t really want to do too many collabos. When you think of Cuban Linx, you can’t just put anybody on there and consider them one of the additions. I don’t want to come in it like that and just make the fans and make my war *****s feel like, Chef just wants to sell records. I just try to keep the formula as close as possible by keeping the family involved. I would never try to put a Cuban Linx album out and call it that and not have the family involved. Regardless of the turmoil that is around us, nothing’s personal, everything is business, and when I think of Cuban Linx II , them *****s have got to have their spin on it.
Can you explain how you came up with the title, Only Built for Cuban Linx?
Back in the early ‘90’s when we were coming up, me and Ghost, we sat down and we came up with it together. We felt like we was strong like that, like the whole crew made a oath that nothing could ever come between us. We are like family, like that chain could never be popped. Being back then, we was all wearing Cuban link chains and them chains are so hard to pop. It ain’t so much about you got a Cuban link chain, it’s more or less a mental thing that basically keeps the family tight and doesn’t allow no weak links to be on top of it. When we made the album, we just felt like it was only built for a few dudes, it wasn’t built for the world. It turns out to be that it wasn’t built for the other *****s, it was only built for the *****s that really know what we do. When you think of Cuban Linx, you think of something that really holds weight in the game and can’t be broken. It’s unbreakable. That’s how we came up with that though. Like I said, I’m looking at this album right here like a collector’s edition to the first one. I’m really working on a lot of things right now, but my mind is on top of this Cuban Linx II shit right now. We are going hard with that one right now. I’m really 200% into this one.
What made you sign with Aftermath?
Number one, that shit surprised me. At first I wasn’t even the protocol, but a good friend like Busta (Rhymes) came along and basically was telling Dre about what I was dealing with. Dre knew my situation with Universal and he knew I wasn‘t really happy over there and he was like, What’s up? I’m there for you. We are doing all this work together, I wouldn‘t mind having you involved with my circle. I really respected his work ethic and how he handled his business. I can respect Dre, he’s a good dude to me, and I’m a big fan of his. I trust his hand when it comes to hip-hop. He’s not getting caught up in all the shit that’s out today. That was just something that just happened overnight. It just allowed me to be around. I got a lot of love for Dre, even with business aside I know if I didn’t come with crack he wouldn’t get down with it like that.
Is there any reason why you didn’t go the indie route and instead signed with a major label this time around?
I mean, when I look at indie, it’s a good situation for cats that paved the way. I just didn’t like the fact that they are not reaching the masses. When you think of Cuban Linx, you think of an album that has to be everywhere. How I see it, it has to be on a major label. If you just look at America itself, like the 50 states, I know that there are like 20,000 real *****s in each town that are really waiting for this album. I’m just looking at it like, if there are 20,000 people waiting for the album, the albums got to be there. When you are playing with indies, they don’t get that many pre-orders. When you deal with a major label, they are smart enough to know that x amount have to go out. At the end of the day, I just feel like I don’t want to shortchange the people and have the record out and their store doesn’t have it. At least the majors are going to make sure the albums are there.
With the current climate in the industry, as far as illegal downloading, do you feel that you can go platinum on Aftermath?
Yeah, I think that this record right here, just from the quality of it, I think that it got major potential to go platinum. I’m really believing strong that if people get their hands on a good record they will want to go out and get the real shit. Overall you are going to have people trying to download shit and do their little thing, but overall, I think that people are going to want the certified shit. I am just really hoping that people go out and pick up the real thing.
What’s your favorite song that you and Ghost have done together?
I got some heaters. I got something real nice with me and Starks that I definitely want to launch. I don’t want to launch it early though, because I want it to be able to work for us, and set us up in a better situation. I want to throw it out and really highlight the next best thing that we are going to do. I got this one song that’s similar to “Rainy Dayz.” If you think of how me and him went in on “Rainy Dayz,” it’s just crazy. It’s just thundering and pouring on the track, so that’s one of my favorite joints, and on some real live narrating shit. Me and Ghost love doing storytelling fly shit. That’s our trade mark and I got him on that level right now. The lyrics are crispy and the production is real strong. I got a pretty good thing going on for me right now, just trying to stay grounded and militant and just continue to be the best I can be.

I spoke to Tragedy Khadafi recently and he said that you and him were doing an album together. Can you speak on that?
We talked about it. Tragedy is like a legend in my book. He paved the way for a lot of artists to come up. We were scheming on some things, but we fell out of reach. But anything is liable to happen in the future. Like I said, I represent all rap across the world. I’m still a fan too. No matter how much you have been in the game, I’m still a fan of certain dudes. Whether you go gold or you go wood, if you are a stand up artist and a real rap ***** to me, anything can happen in the future. We were just talking about it and whatever is going to happen, we are going to announce it when it is time. Right now it’s all about Cuban Linx II, but in the future you never know, like I said, Tragedy is a good-ass dude. He’s definitely a legend in my book. I would love to do something when it’s time.
What inspired you to do the whole Ice Water thing?
That’s my family, Ice H2O. Those are my brothers, they are really working hard to put me in the right position to feel good about myself. As far as the Ice Water artists, now they are working real hard. They’re getting their joints together. They know how hard it is to be a star in this game. It’s just about coming out with boom, boom, boom product. They’re working hard.
What’s it like not having Ol’ Dirty around anymore?
It’s just sad. We’re out here doing these shows and we just make sure we keep him involved. We just want him to know we miss him dearly. They say you never miss a ***** until he’s gone. I still think about the ***** everyday, I thought about him yesterday, I always have those flashbacks. Our crew is like a little dysfunctional or whatever, but I love them, I love all of them because we’re all we got at the end of the day. Everybody is making a living and we are just doing what we got to do. There’s nothing like seeing ODB’s face again. *****s be asking me all the time and I just zone out thinking about him, like, Damn. He definitely was the Marvin Gaye of our time.
What was the last book that you read?
I haven’t been reading no books. I just been looking at a lot of old movies and shit. With this album, I’m just so much up on a veteran status right now that I’m basically just taking my time. A lot of *****s try to rush projects and throw them out on hype, just so they can. I just sat back and had fun with the shit again. Giving fans their money’s worth, I just want to try to give them their money’s worth and let them know that I’m not playing no games when it come to this album. I’m not trying to rhyme for myself. I’m more or less trying to rhyme for the people right now. Let them know that Chef is getting younger. He ain’t getting older. I’m more clever with my writing right now, so you are definitely going to hear a lot of shit. I’ve been hearing *****s records too, and I haven’t really been impressed. I’m not a hater, but overall, I haven’t been impressed with *****s. I’m just so anxious to release my first single, I can’t really do it yet because of the politics. It has to come out at the right time and all that.
What artists today remind you of yourself?
It’s hard to say, I can’t even comment on that. That’s honesty.
Ten years from now, what do you see yourself doing?
I’m going to be chilling by the pool with a fly watch on, just chilling. With limousine service. Overall, we’re going to get into a lot of businesses. I’m trying to open up a couple more restaurants. I’m trying to open a restaurant right now in Arizona. It’s at a secret location. It’s getting fixed up. My whole thing is just really I want to be doing films. I want y’all to look at me like a Ice Cube ***** like, Yo, have you seen Chef’s first movie? I’m a dreamer and I got a lot of goals that I want to accomplish, but it’s just about doing it right.
What do you want to say to everybody?
I just want to give a shout out to all the real *****s across the world and just *****s to just really go out and support a *****. You got a lot of shit right now. This downloading is trying to take over the game. I want people to just go out and purchase the real shit. I want you to hear that it’s crack. We are not going light on this album. It’s going to be a boom, boom record. So, get ready and get your money together. If you can buy a bag of weed, I know you can go purchase a landmark album part two.

ich sagte auch nicht dass re-up hohe klasse ist, genau so wie clipse album es ist. clipse album ist wohl das maximum an neptunes experimental musik, vieles ist geil, manches würde nichtmal bei popstars durchgehen. soll keine haterei sein, ich wollt nur das unterstreichen dass juice kein maßstab ist.

Das Jahr 2006 neigt sich dem Ende. Wir haben die Releases von Busta Rhymes' "The Big Bang" gefeiert, konnten die G-Unit Platten von Mobb Deep "Blood Money" und Lloyd Banks "Rotten Apple" hören und zum Abschluß des Jahres gab es noch die Shady Records Compilation "Eminem presents: The Re-Up". Für das Jahr 2007 wurden nun folgende Aftermath Releases angekündigt:

Angeblich soll 50 Cent sein Ziel erreicht haben. Noch ist es ein unbestätigtes Gerücht, P.Diddy soll den gültigen Vertrag mit Mase aufgelöst haben. Damit könnte Mase nun ins Camp der G-Unit wechseln. Umsonst wird ihn Diddy aber auf keinen Fall ziehen lassen. Man munkelt, dass Fifty eine höhere Summe für die Freigabe bezahlen musste...

It's no secret that Aftermath Entertainment's most anticipated album will come from Dr. Dre. However, the buzz has been building for a different artist on the Aftermath roster, as well. Bishop Lamont has been hitting the lab, along with Dre, in preparation for his album The Reformation.
According to statements from Aftermath representatives via Lamont's official MySpace page, the album will be released before Detox.
Reports also indicate that Bishop will soon be joined in the lab by none other than Chris Martin. The Coldplay lead singer also appeared on Jay-Z's most recent effort Kingdome Come. Few guest stars have been confirmed as of press time, but the statement also indicates that 50 Cent and Eminem also have studio sessions planned.
Production from the album is slated to be provided by a slew of well known beatsmiths. Names of possible producers include Dr. Dre, RZA, DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Scott Storch among others.
The Reformation is slated to drop this Summer and Detox is expected to follow it up in the Fall.
