Conditions in these buildings are often atrocious. Damp and mould are commonplace, as are insect and animal infestations. The disruption of being moved from place to place causes adults to drop out of work and children out of school. In the past five years alone, the parlous state of temporary accommodation has been cited as a contributing factor in the deaths of 55 children in England. These arrangements also impose enormous costs on local councils, which last year spent almost £1.8bn on emergency shelter, a figure that has more than doubled in real terms over the past decade. This nightmare scenario is due to three main factors: woefully inadequate rates of housebuilding, a dwindling social housing sector and the erosion of financial support for those unable to afford market rents.

Hab ich eigentlich schon mal erzählt das ich als Azubi ne Abmahnung bekommen habe, weil ich unter meinem Privaten Facebook Account (weile her) dumme Express Schlagzeilen gepostet habe (In dem Fall: "Vergewaltigung: Mann mit Pferdeschwanz gesucht") und sich eine Kundin von uns darüber echauffiert hat?

Die hatte mich irgendwie drin weil ich bei Facebook Teil der Firma war und die hat das nicht verstanden und mich mit nem eigenen Post an den Pranger gestellt ob ich Vergewaltigungen gut fände. Darunter dann viele Kommentare von deren Brigitte Freundinnen. Das fand ich so scheiße das ich darauf geantwortet habe, dass ich natürlich Vergewaltigungen und Gewalt gegen niedere Wesen (Frauen) für legitim halte und gerade auf dem Weg in den Park bin.

Dann musste ich zum Chef und das hat mich noch wütender gemacht. War rückblickend insgesamt alles scheiße.

The leader of an attempted coup on Sunday in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has been killed and some 50 people including three American citizens arrested, a spokesperson for the Central African country’s army told Reuters.
Gunfire rang out around 4am in the capital Kinshasa, a Reuters reporter said. Armed men attacked the presidency in the city centre, according to spokesperson Sylvain Ekenge.
Another attack took place at the nearby home of Vital Kamerhe, a member of parliament who is tipped to become speaker, Kamerhe’s spokesperson, Michel Moto Muhima, and the Japanese ambassador said in posts on Twitter/X.

U.S. Ambassador Lucy Tamlyn said in a post on social media that she was "very concerned" by reports that American citizens had allegedly been involved in the events.
